We build battery for our lady customer. She want upgrade her 800W DC e-scooter from 36V/12Ah Lead-Acid battery to Li-Ion battery with double range. As a woman (53kg), I think this 4 Lite (2nd generation) is powerful enough. Only issue for me is that it’ s weight 16kg. It is still too heavy and a bit big for me to carry on to the bus or stairs. For a woman the E Scooter is better weight less than <12kg.
I’ve been using my 4 lite gen for 3 months and so far it’s good. As a female it’s very convenient and useful for me to ride escooter when going to work rather than riding public transpo.
Dont buy a lite, and this is coming from a lite owner. Just save a little bit more money and buy the normal one. Maybe even a pro

The standard capacity fo this bt8010 is 504wh, is it possible to replace battery cell with higher capacity lets say to get 630wh? I have 2 of those bt8010 one is the new one just bought it, the old one its battery capacity already drop maybe just 50-60% in full charge. I plan to send to battery repair shop and upgrade capacity if possible. Thanks
Hi, there is no chance to upgrade capacity. Cells has 3500mAh so final kapacity is 14Ah (504Wh).
I though you only needed 6S for 24v... I am confused, if these are 3.7v nominal voltage that would make it 25.9V and 29.4V fully charged. I am thinking of building the same for my scooter that uses two 12 lead acid batteries.
Hi, in battery world is 24V for 6S and 7S...like a 48V is for 12S and 13S. Same 60V for 16S and 17S. It's rounding. For replacing 2 12V lead acid batteries is good choice 7S connection.

Hi i have seen another video about this skuter and i noticed that the sticky carpet which coves top (access to the battery) is the weakness , if the dirt gets under it will be ruined ? carpet not rubber ? how to clean? how to wash? It is the only cons i see at the moment.
We will disassemble scooter it in part 2. But on top is regular rubber, not any kind of carpet. On the bottom of the rubber, there is some type of glue, and if this glue gets dirty, it will lose its stickiness.

Blue cells are fake cells, just for filling space.

You need security Torx heads to remove the screws. To release the two little covers for the screws, a good idea to lift up with a chisel from below. I cant see any way to remove these without some damage.
Hi, you can use scalpel or some blade. It can make some little damage but it doesn't matter.

Thanks for this. Mine needed a head repair and other videos were showing a different model. It seems like Philips are pretty intent on making the insides of their toothbrushes harder to access and repair.
I had a very unpleasant experience. A client of mine, brought the functional battery and I in my tests I endeavored the battery! My tests consisted of checking the full capacity of the pack before balanced, which in the case measured 10.6Ah and how much capacity would have after the active balance. In the case measured 12.5Ah after the test. The stress range, from 2.5 to 4.2V by cell. Never do this with BMS on, to do this test I should have removed BMS like Mcellbatteris said! Anyway ... living and learning. Congratulations on your video, very good!

Hi, we repaired several of these batteries and there wasn't any problem. BMS can be blocked when some of cells has lower voltage for longer time.

My only suggestion will be to add the gasket insulator same you use on the side of the battery on the top and bottom or fiber glass insulators. Other than that looks amazing.
Thanks for comment. Yep, today we use fishpaper for all sides, battery pack is wraped to shrinkable foil like in video but on sides we use insulator glue for waterproof efect.
Hi, I have a problem with my V60 MY 2020 plugin hybrid. The battery do not charching and turtle appears while driving, reducing power and switch out the EV battery. I'm waiting for maintenance now, diagnostic result are shown the foult code: Hybrid/EV battery cell balancing circuit E range/performance.
Hi, there is only one option here and that is to dismantle the battery and check it. There's a high chance you have the same problem as in the video.
