Hello I recently had to look around for tires and found the same thing. BKT tires seem like a quality well made tire. Seems like alot things coming from India are top of the line well done. Enjoyed your video have a great day.
Glad to see you came through that storm okay. Debt is great for those who are lending, not so much for the rest of us. I just had to take a set of BKT tires myself. They seem to work well, but lack the protection around the rim.
Wow It's hard to find American tires anymore. I'm still waiting for parts. I order December is then back order that long. Be safe out there your buddy from Nebraska
All one can do is prepare for the worse and hope for the best. IMO Hold off for now and recheck in three months. If it was me, I'd let the drill go. In all reality I'd rather prepare for a set of hard years than not.
Thanks for the update. After seeing the tires, i could see the curve in the tread. That looked really bad on camera. I'm sure it was a lot worse in person. Definitely not what I want on my loader tractor. See you later.
I just did the 10.00 16s on my ford 7710 yesterday. I priced 8 plys and BKT $195, Harvest Kings $175, and GreenX $165. Never heard of the GreenX but thought I'd try them. Don't know if the supplier screwed up or they just substituted and didn't notice until I was bolting them on but they sent 10 ply Harvest Kings. I don't know if i should be happy I got heavier tires for the GreenX price or pissed because they're made in China. Not sure where GreenX are made.
Almost can smell the hay in the hay loft. Tires have a lfe span too and end up with aches and pains after a few years of work. They crack and show all the blemishes of hard farming life. Time for a re-tire.
Because tires are made out of rubber and since the pandemic there's been a rubber shortage like every other thing there is and there's another thing called inflation and if that's not enough for you the key ingredient in a tire is oil
I 100 percent agree with ypur philosophy about spending money right now, deff looks like a storm is coming.
Odd jobs make the farm go round Ethan👍🏻take care and keep em comin 🇺🇸
Always something
Good stuff! Agree

that black snake will like that new chicken house

Ethan look for a LED High Bay light for the barn. They hang from a hook and you can get them with a cord end on them
Interesting video as always Ethan much appreciated
Thanks.
Never have to look too far on a farm to find odd jobs that need completed !!! Better on an off day than a busy field day.
Yep
You learn quick not to say the words I'm bored......
Great stuff Ethan
Pile those tires up and have a big fire. Treat Shelly to a hotdog for all her hard work.

The modern US economy in a nutshell.

Seams like lately front tractor tires and implement tires do not last real long, even if they sit inside
Hopefully things will work out in Nov. We cant take four more years of the way things are going. Your right, to many unknowns.
Ethan, in Des Moines Iowa we really didn't get any rain from the tropical storm. At least you're getting some odds and end things done. Thanks Michael
You’re lucky.
If you get up to Baldwin, the Buckley old engine show is the second week of August.
Awesome show, everyone needs to attend it a few times. Would be nice to see it covered on this channel.
5 inches on my corn and 3.8 at the other farm. Most wheat is out here. Hope you can get it out ASAP. Thanks for another video.
Anymore rain like that and there isn’t going to be anything left worth harvesting.
Over by Jackson MI we got 5+ inches
Ive been running BKTs on my 856 for a couple years now and like them. The rears flat spot a little but have been wearing really well.
That’s all my Carlisle CSL24’s are. BKT’s with a different name on the sidewall.
You could take your old Oliver 8 row planner, narrow it up a little more and just make that your bean planner
Yea no. I’m trying to upgrade planters not dump money into a worn out pile of shit that will be nothing but headaches.
Bkt produces monster truck truck be interesting to see how the work out
Any thoughts to a lean to on side of your new barn??

I don’t know how it hadn’t cut the tube.
@@Oliver66FarmBoy yep,that's the mystery.

Somewhere in Asia.
When do you plan on extending the loft?
still interesting vid ethan!
Thanks.
What kind of return on investment would you have on buying the other drill, sometimes you have to make a purchase when you don't really want to
The Indian front tires I bought turned brown from the sun in about two months.
We have had good luck with bkt tires
They aren’t bad.
Is that hardi sprayer needed repaired
We 4'1/2 inches here in tekonsha
Seen that sprayer in your hay barn. Just curious why you don't use it? Looks like has pretty good size boom and tank on it.
It’s junk.
Always something Farm
8 ply should handle 50psi?
I got 4 in just north of Jackson
That’s enough
Go figure tires on back order & Firestone is laying people off.
That’s corporate level supply control.

Loader work doesn’t help
You can make our own nesting boxes out of wood I did
The reason why it was hot was cause you were working to and you don't get a breeze in the barn at least from my experience being on the farm
Just wondering what’s wrong with the Hardi sprayer in the corner? That it wasn’t used this year.
Everything
I think you should start working on the hardi sprayer this winter
I don’t.
Many you could give some straw to your uncle.
Nothing better then taking a tractor drive through the country
Yep
A lot of wheat is going thru the dryer this year.. back order is common terminology in this Brandon economy
where do you get your tips from i just bought 8 tips and screens for my sprayer and got took for 119 bucks i about shit myself
Sprayer specialists.
@@Oliver66FarmBoy i will have to look them up i all ready got them bought for now and need the sprayer right now

No shit Sherlock?
I have had really good luck with BKT tires. I guess India is better than China.
Not by much.
fjb
Let’s go Brandon.
I'm not a fan of the American farmer tires. Nothing but bad luck. Or local shop quit carrying them. Cheep tires for a reason
I’d never buy their drive tires. But This is the first problem I’ve ever had with a steer tire.
