- For this episode of Tone Deaf I decided to try something a little different. I sat down with my friend Sebastian Svalland (PAIN, In Mourning & Letters from the Colony) to discuss our recent collaboration on the new Aesthetic Perfection single "S E X", struggling to find balance in the midst of a global pandemic and getting weak in the knees while performing with LINDEMANN.

For your first interview I think that went pretty damn well! Great topics and conversation. Look forward to hearing more!
Great convo between two musicians. Good stuff guys.
As someone who makes electronic music with heavy guitars, this was awesome to listen to. I love the perspectives, and the track you guys just put it is amazing. I'd love more of these! Well done.
Who knew mixing electronics and heavy guitars would be so tough!?
Yeees!
I feel like collaboration is something that has been missing from the goth / industrial scene for too long. Luckily, it feels like it's starting to come back. It's about time! 😃
@@ClosetoHumanMusic Oh yes! I think the alternative scene might be more used to sorting stuff out for ourselves, possibly because it's not the type of cultural expressions favored by support from society. But in isolation we reach out and connect more, so it will be really exciting to see how it will develop!
This has cheered me up today, as my mental health has been a bit meh recently, and I absolutely love the song! I wish you all the very best with the music ❤️
Well this is a fun thing to wake up to! Thank you for bringing this interview to us today. :D
At 19:46, you really picked up on something there about bands being afraid to reinvent themselves. Because it is true. The main majority of bands are afraid to reinvent themselves or evolve to find their own sound. Many bands do go down the "AC/DC" route, mostly because they know what sells well to their audience. Or it is down to their audience that will give the new music such bad reviews if they try to make something new and it can divide the fans into liking the old stuff more or the newer stuff more. Such an example is Linkin Park when A Thousand Suns was released. Some loved it and some hated it, (especially the Hybrid Theory/Meteora era fans). There is always that one band out of 100 that recreates who they are on every single album with their new sounds, personalities and ideas. Overall, awesome video!
Congrats!!! 💪🔥💞💥🙌 well deserved. And long over due!
Are you the fire lady on CZcams?

@@ClosetoHumanMusic sweet just say where 🌮
Sebastian had many nice and well-put things to say, but oh boy, after listening to this I came to the conclusion that I very much do NOT swear a lot.
Why do I keep reading I am Daniel Graves as freaking I am megalovania it makes no sense
Come here and the first thing I hear is someone destroying the pronunciation of Svalland. Great song btw
At least I apologized for it!
