    While the real reasons are
    1) Parking fee
    2)Wastage of time
    3)Higher price of products
    4)No return facility
    5)Bad Customer service
6)Salespersons troubles customers and poke too much
7)Misleading people by writing wrong quotes outside while when they enter the shop story is something else.

Malls will close for sure just like STD PCO got closed.
Yes people are bored of them.
High street food shops and Ala carte restaurants will come back in vogue.
I cannot think of any revival strategy that can save malls.

    1)Good customer service
2)Have sales as per season eg Summer season sale 30% to 70% off.
    3) Cut down prices to attract customers
4)Stop saying out of stock again and again to customers
    5)Low parking fee for customers
    6) Avoid making queues of customers for billing
7)Stop misleading people by writing wrong quotes outside while when they enter the shop story is something else.
8)Give some discounts on certain bank credit cards if they allow

The strength of India is only its mass population that attracts every country to invest due to highest consumption. But over 90% of its population comes under middle class & lower category which is avoiding mall shopping due to high inflation & rising prices, lower income, higher taxes by govt on goods, etc. On the other side, the mall shops are unviable due to high cost of salary, electricity, rent, regular maintenance, etc.

malls se shops hatake ....food courts or entertainment segments badhane chahiye ..pubs and night clubs badhadena chahiye to problem sort hojaega ... metro cities me malls ko 24/7 khol dena chahiye with night clubs and pubs . malls will boom.

Major reasons for malls failing in india:
*Poor & sad public..yeah majority of indians r sad, depressed & poor
*Poor obsolete themes & same eons old closed-box architecture
*Too many malls in some cities, while very less good jobs available, only NCR, MMR, banglore, pune, hyderabad, chennai, ahmedabad, surat hav substantial good jobs aside local businesses & govt jobs.
*Not integrated with logistics & local commerce
*Too much pricey & small stores without much variety & speciality products
*Still focus on shopping & eating, not much chillout options, not a single mall in world is ONE STOP SOLUTION for life's all needs...
Like: repair shops, customization shops, clinics, spas, discos, amusment parks, automotive related shops, for all these v need a super huge area in vicinity of both railway & highway along with a dedicated block type format with ample open green spaces, various different themes & architecture & big planned residential areas in proximity..

Tumhari soch chhoti hai.. people go to malls for quality time food + shopping + games + entertainment.. all in one.. you can't find all at one place for whole day family time.. moreover the shopping online has fake products, size issue, quality issues, theft issues.. but don't find any such in personal shopping..
moreover shopping online in bedroom is boring as hell.. there is no vibe in it if you don't feel the product.. people need to go outside and live.. internet has ruined it all.. I personally prefer to shop physical stores than online stores..
