Love your channel! You have me super hyped to blow 1600 bucks on a manticore by the way. I have an Equinox and a Nokta Legend currently. I really only bought the legend because of all the leaking issues the equinoxes were having and was worried mine might leak at some point. I couldn’t be happier with the legend tho, so I’m having a hard time justifying buying another detector. I can’t really imagine being able to recover a target in the water much deeper than I do now with the legend. You seem pretty happy with the manticore. If you have any experience with the legend, do you have any thoughts on one vs the other? Would love to see you do a comparison video on the beach and in the water between the two.
Thank you! Unfortunately, I've never used a Legend, so I can't comment on its performance. The manticore hits hard on deep targets, and I'm very pleased with its performance over the Excalibur. Its a stellar machine!
Well done fellas. Looks like you’re getting really familiar with the manticore. My Excal II broke on me last week and awaiting a new one from Minelab. So I’m going out tomorrow, using my Nox800 for the first time in the water. Praying for no leaks. 🙏
Good luck! I recently sold my 800 for that very reason. I just didn't trust it or want a friend to be using it and have them feel terrible when it leaks

The water isn't too bad. Its around 75-80 degrees in the summer. The spring is much cooler. Gators are around at times, but you just don't mess with them and they don't mess with you
I'm so happy for him! He's primarily a dirt hunter, and only recently started coming out with us to the beaches. I hope this lights that fire that gets him into beach hunting more!

Great video, just wondering what settings you use on the manticore. I have one and I find that some targets disappear and reappear, I think because of ground balance tracking. What do you set for ground balance?

I think it would be interesting if you saved all the change you find in a year and give us that total. the big finds are neat.
I keep all of my change in big buckets. It would be fun to keep track of how much I make per year in found change

Certain machines interfere. We can noise cancel our machines and change frequencies if it gets bad

I believe its the state of Florida. You have to be so far off shore to scatter them.

I use a Minelab Manticore. The waterproof headphones are separate, and bluetooth does not work if the machine is underwater. Thank you!!

Thanks! I run the Surf and Seawater program with sensitivity at 15, threshold turned up until its audible, and I noise cancel every 20-30 minutes

You spelled it correctly! This was Bradenton Beach. It's normally very busy. We just get there early before the huge crowds arrive

Its from Stealth Scoops. The one I use is called a 720i Hybrid
