Very common problem on civics, accords, odesseys. 1- BAD BATTERY AND CONNECTIONS: Check battery, making sure it can hold 12.6 V and the rated amps for your car. You must test it with a good multimeter. If amps are lower than what is printed on the battery label, replace battery. 2-installing new battery can cause this issue.. drive it for a couple of minutes, sometimes lights will go out. Also, you may lose radio codes, will not be able to acces radio stations, GPS, if car is equipped. Call Honda customer service, provide your vin number then, they will tell you step by step how to recover all your radio codes and stations. 3- Begin with "hard restart" procedure. There are two ways on doing this. 1- If you have push start button, just push start one time only until lights come up ir if you have ignition key, turn key to on position . Then, hold radio power button for 5 seconds until a message appears that asks to reboot system. Click on "yes" , then release button, wait until lights go out then lights go back on again and when honda emblem turns on on your screen. Then, try to start car again. If this does not work.... 4- If this does not work, open hood, remove battery cables by using a 10 millimeter wrench or socket. Begin removing NEGATIVE SIDE FIRST, very important. Then, make sure is not touching any metal surface. WARNING: BE VERY CAREFUL YOUR WRENCH DOES NOT TOUCH ANY METAL PART WHILE REMOVING BATTERY CABLES OR YOU CAN CAUSE SEROUS DAMAGE TO YOUR CAR OR GET HURT. After removing negative side first, then proceed with postive side. After both battery cables are disconnected from bettery, hold both battery cables together, allowing to touch each other for about 15 seconds. Then, release making sure none of those cables are touching the battery terminals during those 15 seconds. Then... Begin connecting postivive battery cable, (the red one) to the positive side of battery terminal. Then, begin with the other, the negative side battery cable (black color) to the negative side battery terminal. Always reconnect negative side last. Wait, about 3 to 5 minutes to allow electrical system to estabilize a little bit before starting the car. Then, start car.... Hopefully, this will fix your problem. If not, it may be a short out circuit, or a recall. Contact honda for recalls.

Heads up. 2018 Honda Accord 1.5 TL. My a/c began to blow hot air a couple weeks ago. The a/c condenser was leaking. Thankfully covered 100% by Honda's A/C Condenser Warranty Extension. My car is now out of factory warranty and has had a lot of issues since I purchased it new in 2018. Brake rotors and pads wearing out at about two years (front and back), whizzing sound from L driver mirror when temps are under 40 degrees at highway speeds, vibrating sound (plastic against metal?) somewhere under dash of infotainment and right of gas pedal, vent cover on center of dash coming apart, TPMS errors, battery dies at about 36 months, and yes, all the error codes lighting up like Christmas. Was told the code issue was bad fuel injectors (repair quote of $1850). I unplug the battery and the codes return after a couple days of driving. I am done with Hondas.
I have the same problem, I was doing research and I think it’s the fuel injector. I got a p301 code misfire cylinder #1 , Honda should be recall the fuel injectors because it’s too many cars with the same problem.also I believe is the head gasket causing the issues with the injectors because the head gasket fail and then the misfire happens.

They say it is fuel injector because if they mention MICU is faulty it will register a huge recall. These accords are notorious for "lost communication between MICU and Relay control module. You need to take it to a mechanic who understands CanBus and Linbus systems.
I want to inform everyone that you don’t have to do anything except buy a little machine like this it plugs in under your steering wheel an resets all the computer codes an that’s it ! Ok, i was flipping out with this on my accord, after a complete diagnostic exam nothinh is showing! So what was the culprit?? Our cars are new and should not be giving us these problems! I hope your car gets fixed!
@@cristinajacobo8810 hey there, I feel your pain. I’ve done a battery disconnect more times than I care to say. I just bought a brand new battery since the issue seems to be battery related, and the problem still persists. Have you had any success finding a resolution to this problem? I am getting pretty desperate at this point

@@mauriciogonzalez6302 sorry for the delayed response, so FINALLY after a few times to the dealership, they said it was the fuel injectors. So they replaced them and I haven’t had the problem since. But I’m not going to hold my breath! I hope your car gets fixed
Am at Honda now with the same issues 06-18-24
My wife’s 2018 Honda Accord is also doing it. I have a 2011 Honda pilot and it also have issues. I’m done with Honda.
I have a 2023 accord sport hybrid and my car started doing the same stuff. And within 5 minutes later all the warnings are off. Happened 5 times in the last 17 days. Always on the first time starting it that day. What did your issue end up being?
You got a nice car I wish my car told me like that what was wrong with it ik they got diagnostics but I like how your car tells you what’s wrong with it
I had this happen to me. I have a 2019 accord bought it brand new. 35,000 miles. Took it to the dealership and they said it was the fuel injectors. Definitely should have not needed to be replaced this early. Yes I agree Honda should have done a recall!!! 😡 Too many cars with this issue. Very disappointed in Honda
I had the same problem, found out that I needed a new battery..
Thanks
I changed the battery but It’s still doing It.
That was me this Thursday
This shit happened to me 35 days after I bought it. Dealership said I needed a new battery. My bank had just given them $29,000 for the car. Why the fuck wasn't a new battery installed in the first place. They lying about the batteries. They just dont want to do a recall. Dont purchase anything from John Eagle Honda in Houston Texas.
Yea I had to change to battery as well no problems since thanks god
If you bend any front steering or suspension components or have a bad CV axle or fuel injectors, any sensor for the breaking system or air pressure monitors will sometimes cause this in other vehicles, I bent my right front tie rod and strut in a 2019 Honda Civic from a idiot cutting me off and swerving off side of road to avoid it caused every dash light to come on while I limpes it 20 miles home off interstate
How did you reset all the lights?
@@tonyalynch372 after i fixed it i unplugged battery let it sit for a good 2 hours to make sure everything has no power and comluter can reset. And if that doesnt work then just go tothe auto parts store anf they can turn off the warnjng lights with the scan tool

Hi sir . How to your this problem solve. Same to same problem in my honda accord. Same model. Plz help me how to solve this problem.
Is this gonna be covered by the warranty. I got a 1.5 sport 2022 its still under warranty idk if i should take it to honda or unplug the battery first then see if it fixes the problem
Wow this sounds like it’s time to trade this in a get a new car right now is the best time car prices are high and top value for your car
I have that plastic sound too but it’s my plastic thing where my mirror is
I am done with Honda to.
Disconnect negative cable on battery. Wait a few seconds. Put it back on. Turn on car. Put seat belt on and drive until codes go away. They will.
Will the codes go away, go away or go away temporarily???
I have the same problem, I was doing research and I think it’s the fuel injector. I got a p301 code misfire cylinder #1 , Honda should be recall the fuel injectors because it’s too many cars with the same problem.also I believe is the head gasket causing the issues with the injectors because the head gasket fail and then the misfire happens.
I have Same problem lights turn on and off every couple days. The dealership told me that fuel injectors need to be replaced and mine is 2018 has 55,000 miles I believe factory defect we should report this problem.
@@rajabzaza7059 I agree. Fuel injector are going bad too soon they should last longer. Honda should take responsibility on this issue
Check your battery u need a new one
@@HABIBI_SOUR is not the battery. Already try that. Dealer told me it’s the injector the code is P301 and also 2 more independent mechanic told me the same
@@victorv33 dealer be careful with the dealer they might just change the battery and bill you for injector they was charging 1400 for tie rod just the outter one 697 for parts only got Honda oem parts for 190 + 60 to put on + 60 for wheel alignment….. how long you got with the original Honda battery they suck and this is the first sign when battery is done
Same exact thing with my 2018 1.5 it’s in the shop now and they’re saying I need A new engine,, $5,000🤬. I’m selling it!!! Probably going with Camry, Acura or Infiniti next. This is my eighth Honda and I’m very disappointed in the car, it’s the best looking worst car I’ve ever owned!
They are lying to you… they just want a profit. I had a similar problem and All it was was some chewed up wires. My guy spent day and NIGHT trynna figure it out. We never left shop until we did and that’s what it was. It was a circuit short causing all the lights. Sad that you owned 8 Hondas and this happens.

It’s you underboost turbo code 299
Happened to me , had it like that for a month, it comes and goes but my car was driving perfectly fine . Took it to dealer and they said it was the fuel injectors . The good thing is , the extended warranty covered it so I didn’t have to pay anything
My mechanic stated that it was the oxygen sensor. How is your car running since the new fuel injector were installed.
No new battery, no new fuel injector, nothing else ! So if you have anything like a Honda 2017 + Honda Is full of crap 💩 !! Just do it your self!
Now you can send me the $$$$ that you would have wasted on HONDA SERVICES!
❤️🦋💅 so I can get my nails done
thank you very much
It’s called a diagnostic machine
You actually had an extended warranty? Or are you referring to Honda stepping up to the plate and automatically offering an extended warranty on the injectors?
This happened to me the other day when I was at basketball practice. I had my car started but had to run back in the gym right quickly. I left the car running. When I returned the same situation. Call the dealer. They said when I left the car running and stepped away from the vehicle. I went a little distance. They said the car recognized the key fiber wasn't near the vehicle. It is like an anti theft deterrent. I let the car sit overnight. I haven't had a problem with it since.
That is crazy that a car remote would cause that much of an issue. Makes no sense. I believe they make up shit to get you out of there face.
It’s the battery. I had the same issue. I let someone use my car and they left the car headlights running all night. I was given all those warnings like the guy in this video. I bought a $300 battery and won’t leg said person drive my car 😂
I purchased a small battery pack and have used it now multiple times with this issue. It's a bad cell in my regular accord hynrid battery. Fixed the issue three times. At least I know and have the fix. I'll replace the car batter soon. 😅
2021 Touring 2.0T 17k same lights, and no start. Started immediately with a jump. Next day same problem. Dealer gets 10 bad batteries a day. They replaced mine under warranty.
I need to know why my Honda does this only when it starts raining.
Please reply if you may know or think what it can be.
It was raining in Dubai I’m facing this problem can u help me what to do
If you drive the car for several minutes then park, turn the car on just so the lights pop up not the ignition. Do this five times. Should clear when you turn the car on the 6th time
I had the issue come up and the car will not go from park to any other gear. I walk away, come back 10 minutes later and the car acts like nothing happened and turns on. I had the battery tested... Tested 💯 charged and functional twice by seperate auto shops. What is going on? Any real answers?
This may be my last Honda too. Use to be my favorite car but now I'm not so sure. Smh. How do fuel injectors go out on a fairly new car. 😔

Im having the same issue happened twice this year. Once in February and now in May. They are trying to tell me its my aftermarket taillights. Which doesn't make sense to me. Guessing out there ass! I will post the fix once i get my car back. 2019 Accord sport 47k.
Installed stock taillights and issue still there. They are now telling me its the brake position switch. Part will be in Thursday. Let's see if that solves it. I think it maybe time to get rid of it. Sucks! Car is paid off. Didn't want to get into a new car note!
Was the brake position switch been OK for 2 weeks now fingers crossed
Ok, i was flipping out with this on my accord, after a complete diagnostic exam nothinh is showing! So what was the culprit?? I had condensation on my rear light, and a slight crack on the inside of my headlight, due to hitting an owl! That also had condensation. So what you can say! Those casings must be water free! The condensation was causing the sensors to go bonkers! Once replaced, no more issues. Dealer wanted 1100 for the headlight, 360 for the rear light! I got a new headlight for 190 on amazon, and 100 bucks for the rear! Do the math!
I have aftermarket taillights supposedly causing my issue. Took my stock taillights to them but haven't heard back if it corrected it.
Fuel injectors most likely especially if the car is running a bit rough with misfires
