- Scheidemann was a German composer and organist. He studied with Sweelinck in Amsterdam and became organist of the Katharinenkirche in Hamburg. Reincken was his student. He is considered as one of the first composers of the North German organ school (with composers like Buxtehude and Böhm).
Hereby a small and delightful praeambulum by Herr Scheidemann. Of course, this sounds great on the model of the Schnitger organ of Steinkirchen.

What a nice little piece in a tasteful registration! Great enjoyment, thanks!
Thanks!
Wonderful Ralph!😁👍👏👏👏
Thanks!
Beautiful! Have a wonderful weekend ^^Ralph 😀😀😀
Thanks!
Beautiful! It’s a pity it’s so short. I particularly like the 16th half way the piece. Thanks for sharing Ralph!
Thanks, Rien!
A very nice little piece. At first I thought how atypical the barely ornamented style of playing at the beginning seemed for you. Only towards the end do the ornaments seem to increase and give this little piece a real boost. You show a very beautiful sense of form here.
Thanks, Nils-Ole. I'm not very consistent in adding ornamentations, it roughly differs per recording. I probably would play it different now.
Ausra or I played this one in Stockholm too! Don’t you wish your keyboard had a short octave?❤
I think my brains are glad with no-short octave ;)
