    As always, what a blessing! Explaining the time line of Paul just makes clearer the undeniable thruth of the mystery and the gospel the Lord revealed to Paul. Thank the Lord he has men like you preaching & teaching this message, it has changed my life!

    I think this lesson gives valuable tools for introducing traditional christian people to right division.

    So much to learn from Peters questions.
    Peter was clearly still under law in Acts 10 when he goes to Cornelius.
    He says "it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company or come to one of another nation"
    Peter identifies himself as a Jew under law.
    Members of the body of Christ are neither Jew or gentile and not under law so Peter did not know the mystery going to Cornelius.
    Yes so many use Acts 10 as a pattern for preaching the gospel to gentiles but fail to ask which gospel.
    Great teaching again from Justin.

      Peter was a very simple man from background but with a great boldness of faith, a character of leadership and of brutal honesty when he failed. That's what makes his example so valuable for us.
      He also submitted to Paul when rebuked in Galatians 2 so this is a great example for believers struggling with the Law (like Romans 14 explains) but judging those who don't. Not many follow that example until today.
      There's a book entitled "Twelve ordinary men" by John MacArthur which I found very helpful to read as a young believer.

    I had a hundred teachers. Down to one for long time. Now found few that teach rightly dividing. There is .2 groups that rightly divide. But one side don’t get gospel of kingdom is not gospel of grace. Till grace over. Then gospel of kingdom resumes. But with the cross now. They don’t see there was no cross. Till end of Mathew. I think that’s why Moses comes back as one of the 2 witnesses. He gets to fix why he was barred from promised land. He did not get grace. N show the love of Christ during gospel of kingdom. They will have to die in tribulation. But Moses will show the love 💕 of Christ. With repentance gospel. . Paul says under grace we live repentitive lifstyles not being under repentance. Demand. Take advantage of this grace period. Cause of what Christ done. Not what you can do. It’s seperated at this time. So wonderful. I don’t have to be scared. I can stay close to praising Jesus done. And that helps my walk. . Look at all the teachers. But this teacher could be one of the top.😮

    Which verses in the OT were Jesus and Paul speaking of?
    John 20:9
    For as yet they knew not 👉the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.👈
    1 Corinthians 15:1-4
    15 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that 👉Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 👈4 and that he was buried, and 👉that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:👈

      Consider that Peter and John were fishermen from profession, Paul was educated in a prominent Rabbi school (of Gamaliel). They had totally different background from education in scriptures.
      Acts 4:13 "Now when THEY (the educated Rabbis and high priests from verses 5-6) saw the *boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men,* they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus."

      @@Corinna_Schuett_GER I’m just looking for the OT verses Jesus and Paul were referring to.
      Im sorry but if you are mid-acts I understand you aren’t able to understand the question.

      @Corinna_Schuett_GER Před rokem

      @@ladyjoy6868 I am not 'mid-acts' but can understand what Justin teaches about Paul and different dispensations and gospels. You want to know the "scripture" about resurrection from OT which Peter and John didn't know? There's Psalm 16:10 for example "For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption." which is talking about Jesus resurrected in prophecy through the mouth of David. Or take Job 19:25 "For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:" Perhaps there are some more clues I don't remember right now yet these scriptures were still "hidden" in prophetic context and can only be understood in hindsight when the prophecy actually was fulfilled. Hope that helps? Blessings your way!

      @@Corinna_Schuett_GER Thanks for your reply. So in 1 Cor 15:1-4 Paul uses the phrase ‘according to the scripture’ twice so we know the information he’s giving the Corinthians is searchable. In that case what would be the ‘fellowship of the mystery’ given to the Gentiles in Eph 3?

    • @gracesaves949
      @gracesaves949 Před rokem

      @Lady Joy Correct! Since the death/burial/resurrection of Jesus was prophesied, that would not be the mystery hid in God, revealed to Paul after Christ arose (Eph 3). Your answer is the lesson Justin preached the week prior to this one on the 23rd, titled your very question. It will be more edifying than any summary answer I could give, as you follow along with 📖. 🙏🏽
