Birkenstocks get a huge 0 stars from me as they are just not comfortable. The last time I wore a pair was on April 10/11 2015. I refuse to even own another pair. Before I forget, I ended up having to get a different pair of sandals as I had blisters from the Birkenstocks.

I got vionics it was amazing for my feet . I had no pain in my feet however it gave me lower back pain then I tried different shoes but similar arch support then same I got back pain from it

Love them both! They are more of a thick maximalist shoe. I generally recommend them for people with more pain/need recovery. Once you feel pain free, I would recommend something more neutral like a Brook's ghost.

I thought thongs and flip-flop shoes were bad for the feet - that it’s better to have a heel strap to walk with normal motion. I find most sandals uncomfortable because the toe straps rub, especially the little toe .
