Hi Shannon, thank you so much and Congratulations! I came hair and makeup ready and was able to change in my cabin on the ship. Your wedding planner will call you 2 weeks prior to your wedding to go over details with you. You will also get a refresher from your "day of" wedding planner, who will walk you through everything.
Thank you Christina! I brought party favors, but I didn't bring decorations. Carnival is strict on what you can and cannot bring on. They have a list of what is OK on their website. You can also double-check with your assigned wedding coordinator. Also note, they have decorations that you can buy through them if you wish to be a bit flashier!
Hello J, My wedding was PERFECT!!!! I started working with Carnival 1 year prior. They only allow 2 brides to get married at a time, so the sooner you pick your date and pay, the better! The customer service was awesome and I had tons on compliments on how much fun my guest had. The wedding and reception is about 2 hours all together, so if goes pretty quickly, but you will have plenty of time to enjoy yourself on the cruise. Also, if you are looking to save money, a cruise is the way to go! Please note that you probably wont have as many of your family of friends join because it is a destination wedding, but you can have a big co-ed wedding shower beforehand, so all of your family can wish you well. Hey! So i just looked back at the packages and they changed since I got married. The price is determined by many factors such as how many people attend, the package you choose and what boat you take. Is this the video they sold you in there package? Did you get a copy of your full ceremony? Did you pick out your video and photography package before or after? Did you run into any hidden fees?
Hi Freddie, Yes this is the video that sold me as a part of my package. I did not get the full ceremony. I choose my own package. They had different prices based on what you want and our photographer wasn't pushy at all.
What ship is this on? I’m currently planning a wedding on carnival and wanted to know if all ships were the same... what time did you have to be to the ship as I know no one was on but your weeding party
Hi Shelly, Congratulations! I was on the Carnival Valor. All the ships are pretty similar, but the sizes and activities vary. I think the ship is determined by your destination. We were told to be at the port by 9:00 am. We boarded at around 11:00 am and got married at 1:00 pm. My entire wedding party and guest were allowed on the boat before anyone and they were given food and drinks prior to us getting married.

A simmonslawn My husband used a rental service for his tux, however Carnival does allow you to rent through them.
