We were considering doing a vow renewal but we also have kids... would they have activities for them to do while the grown ups do their thing? And we could enjoy our honeymoon...
I got married on the freedom of the sea out cape carnival in 2011. My guest came on and off . No one traveled with us , and we had our honeymoon to ourselves . It was the best thing we could have done !!
Oh that is the way to do it! We don't get to see our family very often, so we used it as a huge weeklong family celebration... We were definitely in need of that alone time after the week was over though! lol
Omg I had no idea you guys got married on a cruise. My fabulous husband and I got married on Carnival Sensation way back in 2000. It was the most perfect day/week. Everything was taken care of with our preferences kept in mind. I cannot recommend this option enough.
Great video. My fiancé and I have been going back and forth about a cruise wedding. All your pros are spot on and we thought about them all especially $$$$$$$$$$$$ part. The cons are not even that bad. Thanks again for the information.

My, now ex wife and I, did the best of both worlds, we got married in port Canaveral, right on the beach, from a small local planner. Then an hour and half later we were on our carnival cruise line on our way to our Bahamas!
My lady n I are getting married on the Regal Princess Nov 2019! Out to sea is our favorite place, and neither of us plan! Perfect fit!

We got married onboard Emerald Princess in Aug 2010 by a wonderful Italian captain, loved every moment of it! Looking forward to renewing our vows on a cruise in 2020 :)

Me and my fiancé are getting married in South Beach Miami on 8/24/20 that morning and then getting on Navigator of the seas for a 4 day cruise, I’m so worried and excited! The officiant we found to marry us also provides a photographer for $350, and then we are going to purchase a photographer package once on the boat. Not sure why I didn’t think of this at first
We got married in Grand Cayman on the beach through a 3rd party. It was everything I could have asked for and more. We just showed up and everything was taken care of. We had a party when we returned. It was just us and 2 friends to stand with us.
Totally just cyber stocking y'all today!!! We got married in Sept 2017, and after we had our honeymoon on the carnival breeze. we got to watch another couple get married on the ship. My husband was like why didn't we just do this lol. congrats guys,
Haha we do not mind at all!! And yes, it was so wonderful! It was interesting getting married on Day 4 of the cruise, with only 3 days left to consider that our honeymoon... but we wouldn't have changed it for anything! :) *Congrats by the way!

I got married In St Thomas at Megan's bay. Cruised the Azure Seas.it was very nice but I am divorced. I thought it was a great way to get married,those that wanted to attend came.had a big reception In Philly a few months later Atop the Belvieve.

Congrats! I'm thinking about doing the same thing. But, they don't seem to have an adult only cruise. How is it with kids on the cruise? I don't want a bunch of screaming kids around on my honeymoon. lol

Planning on doing vow renewals on a day off the cruise at a beach, I was wondering how did you research your wedding planner?
I planned our entire wedding. But I did hire a day of on-site coordinator that I found by googling day of wedding coordinators in St. Thomas. :)
Im getting married in November 11th in Boston on Norwegian Pearl going to Bermuda im not happy that my best friend and maid of honor can’t go because she is not vaccinated sucks they haven’t changed the policy yet. 10 guest maximum unless I pay for the reception which I decided was not worth it since it’s only an hour and we can get all the same perks while cruising.
Hi! I was wondering, how did you find your wedding planner or who was it and how much was it?
I planned everything myself. The only person I hired was an on-site coordinator from a wedding planning service in St. Thomas and I believe it was about $300 for the day.

Our Jewish son is marrying a Catholic girl, We (neither side) likes the Unitarian, vanilla version so as both sides have WWII veterans, we thought that a cruise to be more meaningful We aren't into your dding the following day? How about as a Con your invited guests will probably lower their wedding gift value because of the expenses they have to pay for their Cruise trip
How long should a reception be on a cruise
Desire it to be 2.0-2.5 hours, but is only 1.0 hour, or at max under 1.5 hours!!! so is expensive, but to the point and very nice all the same!
What about the marriage licenses? Does the cruise line take care of that as well?
We got married on the island, so we had to apply for it ourselves.

Princess is handling all paperwork. We had to send ID and a couple forms. Extra fee to expedite forms within 60 days of sailing (i think?). License is from Bermuda.
hey !we get married this may coming up but a little upset with the package i chose because its technically 4,000 for a venue (at a time we don't want) beach wedding with no decor, efficient and a cake. Everything else is extra food, photos, drinks. Did you have a reception? so expensive :(
That is one reason we didn't book our wedding through the cruise line. We had a cake and cocktail reception on the island immediately after the ceremony but we made reservations for dinner at one of the restaurants on board so we could eat together.

You guys need mics. I really liked the content and style of your videos but your quality would be 10x better if you invested in some good microphones. I could barely hear the guy at all during the whole thing.
