Very interested in how you got the region changed on the Japanese Wii U to US
As someone with very little experience with anything like this, is replacing just the top shell on the gamepad really tough? I ordered the white top shell you recommended to slap on my black gamepad.
I think the black buttons/analog sticks/bottom shell will look dope with the white top.
Two tones do look sharp. You'll be fine, just keep moving over items a few at a time and next thing you know it'll be done. Godspeed!

As best I can tell it's an original nintendo part. So it feels perfect.
the wii remotes only turn on when a specific game needs it like if you have smash wii u demo the wii remote will automaticaly turn on and pair

@@JuliansRandomProject that’s because I have used a Wii U kiosk when I didn’t have a Wii U originally and noticed when smash bros is launched the Wii remotes automatically turn on and pair
I've been looking everywhere for a shell replacement that's white and they're basically nonexistant, but the black ones are still easy to find. I want to swap a black one for white so I don't have other white parts to use with individual shell parts 😞
Keep an eye out for non-working controllers on ebay that have good cosmetics. You can use the white shell and then sell the working piece parts back to ebay and probably cover the cost of the whole swap. Good luck!
