I wonder if Penn does a lot of meditation and prayer and cleansing his aura after acting in this crazy, insane show.
yessss, it must be really hard filming, thereâs a lot of disturbing scenes đ
when this anonyme person start sending Joe messages to his phone and he doesn't know who it was, it almost feels like a link to gossip girl.
Totally disagree that Joe cannot catch a break, that he has to do all these things he doesn't want to do... he TOTALLY wants to do ALL of those things, he is a maker of his own environment. Finally season 4 did what the 1st 3 seasons could not do for me, they made Joe completely unlikable. Penn is very likeable but Joe, is an unredemeble psychopath. Hopefully in season 5 it will all catch up with him.
WaitâŠJoeâs a Psychopath? đ€ since when?? đ€Ł
Heâs been killing people since season 1 and you only just now dont think heâs justified đ
@@shelbys8870I mean yeah heâs a psycho, but at least most of murders werenât for his own benefit in S1-3. A lot of it boiled down to helping someone elseâs life/ self defense/ life or death situation⊠followed by a lot of regret/ self proclaimed wanting a normal life. S4 ending shows that heâs more happy killing ppl
I started season 1 again. What he did to Benji was absolutely insane, and pointless. Joe gets off on it. Finding a victim "YOU" squeezing into their life, "hurting" the people around them, and eventually locking YOU into a cage and somehow making himself into the victim. Marrienne's story made me cry almost and feel genuinely scared of Joe and the concept of people like him, in a way the other seasons did not for some reason.
It's fiction. It's not necessary to have poetic justice... Sometimes how evil becomes the winner also makes a great show.. Simply because life itself is not fair all the time..
Part 2 FINALLY letâs Joe really look like a sick psychopath. You feel so much emotion for Marianne. You begin to loathe Joe.
I loved so much episode 8, because we saw Joe from the victim perspective, and I cried hard! đą I just want him to get caught and pay for all his murders
Lol aren't we all so different. I desperately want him to come out on top đ
I hope they give Joe a satisfying end in season 5. It's not just that he get's caught, but it has to be him getting caught in a clever way, hopefully by an equally charismatic, if not more charismatic good person.
@@JustJokes-bw4fs Even after seeing the POV from Joe's victims? I know Penn is cute and all, but not cute enough for Joe to not need a date with justice, lol.
Season 4 is by far my favourite season! I finished 10 episodes in a day. I also LOVED that they filmed it in London. It was much better with British characters ^^ Love the accent. Please film season 5 in London too!!!! đđđ
noo he need to be stop now it's how to get away with a murder since season 1
Sadly not sure if that will happen since Kateâs new business venture is in New York.
Iâm a new fan of Penns and think heâs a brilliant actor. I loved part 2 but I missed Joesâ voiceovers because I would laugh so hard at his snide little comments!
I love his American accent especially next to the British accent
as a british, the cast's accent was a bit exxagerated for london
@@teaboiNO.1 I'm British too. Yes, they sounded very Victorian for some reason especially Phoebe.
@@teaboiNO.1 When I was at university, I heard quite a few people speaking like that - and that was in Scoland!
@@damilkk lol you deffo went to Edinburgh or St Andrews lmao
@@joyfulj1663 I think it's because their meant to be posh southeners. and my cousins are like 10k away from that accent.
Really, really fun interview with some really fun questions. I've watched a ridiculous number of Penn interviews because I love You and this one is definitely in the top. Love the vibe. Great job.
His an amazing actor for sure
He is great artist and wish him good luck đ
i would honeslty be so entertained seeing him be navigating life in the cell surrounded by other murderers
This this this this. I desperately want the series to eventually end with him dead, but I also would LOVE to see a season of him in prison.
Just finished part 2 last night and wow. Great show
Loved and binged part 2.
I knew Penn through Joe in You, put 2 and 2 together when I rewatched Easy A and some of his earlier work. Definitely believe he would've still made it with just You đđŒ
didn't expect him to actually know anything about soccer lol
So true part 2 made say. No Joe wouldnt do that.....Jo you did that omg
Our tabloids really are terrible, great answer!
Okay but honestly the fact that everyone secretly rooted for Joe despite everything and the guilt factor in doing so is what made YOU so entertaining to watch. Sure it's the obvious thing to stop sympathising with him at some point and see him for the jackass he is but it's still upsetting that the show came down to it.
Even tho they have tried to make him unlikable in S4 I still love Joe
I feel like we love Penn and enjoy his portrayal of Joe.
Not Penn being and Arsenal fanđâ€ïž
Spoiler alert!!!!!!
The actual twist in season 4 part 2 made me cry.. because i knew i would hate the show. The second Joe opend his eyes in the hospital the show was done and it felt like heartbreak. I love this show so so much and this season was getting better and better, literally the best season so far with all the plottwists and the writers finally agreeing that Joe is truly insane/evil, brilliant writing. And then they gave him some sort of weird redemption with the second women who just totally forgives everything he has done. Its exactly the same as with love, he's ready to be caught, to be done and she turnes out to not care at all and even help him cover up with endless riches.. Just like love.
I really dont think the show is over. Obviously theres no talk of a season 5 from anyone but to have him disassociate and have a suicide attempt and the âremorseâ was feeling for a large portion of this season doesnt make sense in my opinion. I loved the season, but the ending doesnt feel right.
@@shelbys8870 yea felt like a harsh turn from the joe weâve known this whole time which Ik was the point and main focus to make him seem truly evil it was just hard to accept how he changed
@@KKOOLSKOOL also the remorse was in his disassociation. But if he truly had none at all, then the suicide attempt/kate visiting him in the hospital scene doesnt add up
The thing thats different with Kate, than there was with Love, is Joe isnt disgusted by his "Dark Passenger" anymore. He was disgusted with Love because she was basically himself. Now he's entered an era of acceptance with himself and doesnt fight his urges anymore. I honestly think this could be a great next chapter for Joe, since he's basically unstoppable and now we can see who he truly is when he isnt holding back and trying to justify everything to himself
nah he isn't "redeemed", after his redemption they show how he killed that kid and framed his student, that scene means that once again he has come out on top, but this time there are survivors, his downfall is coming
Uuhhhh, if he couldnât catch a break he wouldâve been dead or in super max for life by now and thereâd be no show.
The boys are quiet while the girl is loud. Balance your audio output please.
Girls have a voice, theyâre not just an echođ
Let them speak up . Kateâs pitch perfect. Believe me as something who spends 6months in aNYC and the other 6 in Barcelona I know my Woman power :))))
@@nptnc I am thankfully đ Karen
Oh since you seem just interested in gaming I assume your comment was bad. Guessed it right. Open your mind and the rest will follow, be colorblind and joy the flow. âđŒ
Oh, even a hero is a zero without the â herâ . Thanks đđŒ
These Cardi B questions are so cringe đ„Č
he gets asked them like every interview its so funny
Penn Badgley is FINE.....LOOKS LIKE MY BOYFRIEND!
I so wanted them to call the police on him this time. They could have.
What does he say he doesn't like about the UK? The presenters seem to agree but have no idea what he's saying. Saddlewicz?
There wouldn't be a season 4 if the writers didn't make Joe likeable. I'm not a fan of such a hard pivot.
Even psychologically, had he ever displayed symptoms of erotomania? He's worked _really_ hard to be liked and gain the favor of his obsessive fixations. He understands human motivation and behavior so well, which is why he's able to manipulate it.
One of the funniest and interesting things about Joe is listening to him justify the _insane_ things he does for "love". We know he's crazy and bad. We don't need a lesson on why stalking and killing is bad. Are we naughty for enjoying the first 3 seasons?
Whoever mixed this should be fired
Spoiler
The second half definitely redeemed the first half of season 4 for me - UNTIL the last 2 minutes! Joeâs suicide was the perfect ending đĄ
Nooo, this is so not nice. Why does Joe end like that??
Watchef it all .. but nooo
Thereâs going to be a 5th season
I wish and hope:))
Donât think she heard him say tabloids, so the conversation died a little and moved on quickly
Everyone is always on Joeâs side Iâm rooting for him to go to jail or try the wrong one đ especially after part 2 - he has to go lol i canât wait for joe behind bars. Such a juicy ass show tho!
Season 4 should have ended at joe dying tbh. There's literally no reason for joe to actually like killing. From a young age he only wanted to love and to be loved. And all his kills from season 1-3 were because of people he thought were a burden to his love life and he didnt want to lose the love. Now it shows he just enjoys killing which doesn't make any sense because he has never shown any of that as a child. He never hurt his bullies or he never hurt small animals. He was only looking for affection and that somehow leads to him enjoying killing? Doesn't sit right with me.
I'd give season 4 a 6/10
He doesn't enjoy killing, it's just now he has no issue with resorting to killing to get what he wants, in the last 3 seasons it was always just a reluctant last resort now since he's rich he can get away with it easier so he doesn't have to pretend to not want to, i.e him killing Edward and framing Nadia so he can get off free
@@BAEHELPJAYDO what this guy said. Joe no longer has a problem with killing innocent people in order to protect himself, but that doesn't mean he likes doing it, it just means that he adopted a "do what needs to be done and show no mercy" kind of mentality.
@MGM Official oh alright. I just got the impression that he started liking killing because in part 1 one of season 4 one of the messages said "I know you enjoy killing" and since it was him, I thought he enjoyed the killing
Season 4 is probably the best season
I think he did enjoy the killing on a deeper primal level but heâs always been in complete denial convincing himself that heâs not a monster and justifying his actions
