    Definitely the best solution Lee. Let the new owner decide. It would be a struggle to get out of it what you’ve put into to - notwithstanding all the time and having the cash tied up in whilst it gets sorted. If I was the buyer I would just leave it as is and just drive the thing. As long as it gets a ticket every year I would just run it until it gives up.

    I can tell you about Stayhold I use them in my car, it's not glued down it uses hook velcro, the small grey strap is used for holding bottles, the long orange strap can hold a paint tin. It can be moved around the boot say if you have a bag put it against the seats & then put that in front then the bag won't move. You can buy more of that one & also small ones.

    Always liked the look of The Mondeo and Ford's in General the 2018 Focus RS looks awesome as A young Teen seeing an ST in RS Spec was good. Liked this year of Focus to. The Mondeo has always seemed to me a Reliable, Decent Workhorse the old ones to me seem like VAG 1.9 TDI or 2.0 TDI levels of reliability. There not show off or make you look like a Knob in a Beamer or Merc or Audi. Also the mid 2000's ST220 seems rare and cool to me someone had one not far from me was Blue and looked decent.

    The facelift mk5 diesels only have the 1.6tdi and 2.0tdi engines with 115 140 and 184 bhp. I had a 09 2.0tdi remapped to about 180 bhp and while faster it caused a judder so I had it removed back to standard. And it was nicer to drive. I have a 14 reg now they're great cars nothing can beat them for size space and practicality for the price. Even my daughter pxed her 3 series estate for a mondeo when the family out grew the BMW.

With that history, and the fact that it's obviously been cared for mechanically, it will make a good smoker for someone. I used to have a customer who was a debt collector, and he always bought cars like this for work as he needed something usable but that he didn't care about. Some of his customers got a bit upset apparently. Whenever we had a slightly tatty big saloon with a bit of leg on it, he'd almost certainly have it. Yes it showed up. A decent smart man will pull out the dent using glue tabs and a pull bar. Fill and paint it and paint door and QTR panel on other side. It's what he charges you, that could be the stinking point. Good luck with it .

    What you doing? Clear the snow off, then get in and hit the blowers. It's basic.

    • @carukchannel
      @carukchannel  Před rokem

      the Heater was on a good 10 minutes and still no joy, its the ice on the screen that's the issue and not having a scraper, not so much the snow. anyhow got it out in the end

  • @999hireactionvehicles9

    This is why I stopped trading
    That car should be £500 at auction and £1995 retail.
    Selling 160k cars is mental so much can go wrong and you the trader is liable for at least 6 months by law. By the time you've added your time and traveling youve made nothing.
    Flipping cars for £500 is madness

    • @carukchannel
      @carukchannel  Před rokem

      i agree its more difficult these days but there is plenty of us still doing it and making money from it. as for the cra yes there is upto 6 months liability to a dealer but not for ware and tare if a clutch goes 5 months later with 4k miles racked up on it the dealer is not liable. a bit of common sense its easy to sort out any issues most of the time
