  • Track sleepers are manufactured using a circulation system. This circulation process is known as the late stripping process. This means that the sleepers are cured for a defined time in a drying chamber and then removed from the sleeper mould (demolded). This takes place, for example, on the next working day. After the demolding process, the finished and pre-cured sleepers are final assembled, for example, track plates and bolts are pre-assembled. Defined sleeper "packages" are made available to the retrieval logistics and then transported to the external warehouse.
The demolded sleeper forms are cleaned, oiled with separating fluid and fitted with installation parts. Then "just in time" the fresh concrete is produced by the concrete mixing plant and transferred to the concrete spreader. The sleeper moulds are then filled with concrete and compacted via a screw concrete spreader. They are transported in circulation from station to station via roller conveyors as well as cross transport carriages.
