Is ABS Faster in Gran Turismo 7 vs iRacing?

But it is worth mentioning since in GT any car can have an ABS system. Even a 1960s fiat 500 can. A Ferrari 250GTO as well.

Most of my seat time is in AC/ACC and F1 22, being new to iracing, this is all super informative. My lap times are only getting quicker and I’ve become a better more relaxed driver

True but iRacing is more true to real life driving. GT7 is a mix of sim racing game and arcade

Did you try the two ABS settings to compare? It is one of the few settings I haven't experimented with - everything else is off

Ive used Weak Abs, it allows a little more tire slip than normal and will 100% let you spin out if youre too aggressive on trail

Running the 911 Cup car made me a significantly better driver since I couldn’t rely on ABS to save me when I made a mistake

Yup very true line precision gets you really good times in gran turismo and with abs its absolutely faster

Speaking from the GT7 side, probably not. It slows you down a whole bunch on corner exit even on low settings, but idk how much it effects everything in iRacing. I do know every car as TC in GT7 while it’s selective in iRacing

@@AGEOFAHMAD TC is way slower in GT7, only is fast for launches. U get used to no TC, so it becomes really easy.

You can switch abs completely off

@@causality462 yes, but it has been proven that even if you turn it off. abs is still hard coded in the psysics

@@nerdius8204 I've tried it with ASM off together and the brakes lock. Maybe you could try it and let me know. I get that feel that needed precise braking not too much or too less and it's nice to master. You drive faster or it's just me 🙂
