I discovered Terrence McKenna a few years after a heavy mushroom trip. This was the mid 90s when I was researching what I saw in my visions. I have taken LSD/Acid, pretty much every psychedelic you name it and this one time my friend and I took about 8/9 grams each at the Farm in Summertown, TN. We played a show there at a Festival, drove to Nashville to score mushrooms and put up gear, went back to The Farm and ate away. A few days later I heard that the people that got these mushrooms freaked out from a couple of grams and went to the hospital. For us, definitely not the case! I clearly remember having telepathy with my friend throughout the night and most importantly going through the geometric shapes as if they were just a stained glass window we broke through into a temple that had an ecosystem that I’ve never could possibly imagine. And within this ecosystem, I witnessed Elf Tikes coming out of their own bellies and placing what looked like a stone with Druid symbols on them and placing them onto what looked like a pyramid base. But the pyramid was what I thought at the time was matter.
I felt like I was seeing reality being physically built. I saw them as I see everyday “reality” and couldn’t stop observing them and my friend saw them as well and we felt like we discovered new lifeforms or fire or something that grandiose. I remember they saw me/us but were too busy doing their thing, they were friendly but not as friendly as McKenna describes in his DMT experience. Almost like when you’re at a construction site and the workers smile and say wassup but continue to work. After our observation was over, it was dawn and after long (felt like infinite) night in a dark yet hyper colored tent, I could see, and we got out of the tent and I remember falling over onto the tent being “drunk on mushrooms” and also saw that everything was green as if I had green glasses on “everything is green green green...” except the spirits flying from the earth and traveling through the trees & plants to the sky, and some of them would cycle back down and flow back up but some would go back up straight into the sky to disappear.
I was heavily impacted by this experience and wanted to research what I saw and this was before everyone had the internet in their pockets and it was very hard to tell the librarian “yeah so I’m looking for a book on psychedelic elves building matter and realities” lol. But luckily I found a tiny record store in Nashville called “Safe Psychs” that was owned by a guy that looked like Gandalf and he turned me onto bands like The Ozric Tentacles etc and one time he was playing Spacetime Continuum featuring Terrance McKenna and I heard the part where he spoke about “Self transforming Machine Elves”. To hear this was such a relief because those whom I did speak to about this looked at me like I was clearly insane and after a while you start to question your sanity. Since then I’ve read every book by McKenna and have visited those Elves many times after and applying them to quantum physics. The science is real, the Elves are real. If anyone or scientist knows the E8 theory, then you will know what I speak of when I state, our dimension, is just a shadow of their dimension. And what we call reality is nothing more than shadows of a greater and Ever-evolving one. Or another way to look at it as they are the comet and our existence is the comet’s tale. I have a friend who saw the elves without psychedelics. She had always been into fairy’s as a kid, had a fair house and would leave things for them. One day she was in the hospital for something serious and the doctor was getting ready to tell her mother she wasn’t going to make it. Then while everyone was out of the room she saw the “shroom creatures”. After that she made a recovery.

When I wanna try to talk to god, or the universal forces at work, I lay down and hold my hand up, reaching out like Adam in that painting where he's reaching out and god is also reaching out. For some reason it usually feels like there's a weight in my hand like someone is actually holding on. I think it's just gravity but it works enough to trick myself into thinking I've established some sort of connection. I usually use this to vent my thoughts, ask for advice or signs. It works for me for some weird reason.

I saw the elves before I've ever heard about them. 2 of them, I tried to talk to them. I felt embarrassed... the decided to show me myself as a perfect/beautiful wall that I built. I felt like I had to tear down that wall. Best thing that ever happened to me.

Back in the late 1980's we would cut school drive 35 minutes to Berkely. Walk around peoples park, shoulder tap a hippie for doses. Usually get a half sheet, then drive back to the burbs to share for $3.

I’ve never seen machine elves as far as I know, on mushrooms acid or DMT. But, the last time I smoked salvia, I went to a trippy dimension similar to the graphic of this video minus the faces. At this place were two entities that i couldn’t see clearly but I knew they were there, and they were dancing/marching and singing/speaking to a beat and a language I remember clearly but didn’t understand at all. Their language seemed to be intertwined with this marching rhythm and dance, like their speech was also a song and their dance may have just been their typical movement but it all aligned with this beat and the dimension itself seemed to be made out of this beat. I didn’t know if they were aware of me, because I couldn’t see them but I knew they were there and speaking to eachother. It seemed they were speaking to eachother about me being there/observing them.. but I wasn’t sure. They seemed ENORMOUS, like I was the size of a gnat in comparison. Then I came back.
The same thing happened for me on Salvia. I saw cartoonish entities that were chanting/singing in a high pitched language I didn't understand. It seemed as if they were having a parade or something as they went by. It was definitely a wtf moment.

This is very close to the entities I saw with my eyes open when I took DMT, I didn’t breakthrough but DMT opened my third eye. The more it opened the more I could see of them.

@KRrack Grind them and then steep them in a cup or 2 of near boiling water till it cools then strain it through some cheese cloth. Squeeze juice from "tea bag" and then toss it essentially. If ya eat that much material it will have you going like a goose, lots of indigestible fiber. In 10 - 30 min after chugging the drink the effects will start. Start off small if uninitiated 2-3g. 5g and above can be startling. Have fun be safe.
Even better: 3g peganum harmala tea and 15g mimosa hostilis tea.

I'm scared to take too much weed let alone mushrooms. I know my limit and plan to stay within it, but I really admire and am fascinated by people who take these epic doses and the ensuing epic experience.

Weed can be pretty heavy duty these days with edibles and strong ash strains. A lot of that will eff you up. Weed leafs are mild and good enough IMHO but most weed heads love the buds.

DMT if smoked is more or less a twenty minute experience, thirty minutes at the worst. When it's done, it's done, and even most bad trips are quickly forgotten. As long as you don't abuse it and treat it with respect, it will take you well past your limits while simultaneously staying safely within them. You may meet God, you may travel to other dimensions, you may find yourself trapped in your own personal heaven or hell for a short eternity, but no matter what it will be over after about twenty minutes of time in this reality, and you'll be right as rain. Worst case scenario, you have a really, epicly bad trip? You maybe reevaluate your life and stop using substances altogether, I've seen it happen. What I've never seen happen is anyone have an episode of drug induced psychosis on DMT alone.

I took 15g of hollandia truffle for my first time, had strong hyperbolic geometric followed soon enough by strong visual hallucinations.
I did 20g the next time, and time pretty much stopped existing. Insane visuals (very scary and disgusting at first because I couldn't let go, but once I did it was a smooth ride).
I don't think I'll do 20g again anytime soon tho.
20 g of normal truffles is about 5g of dried mushrooms. But hollandia is the strongest kind so... Idk the conversion.

Whenever I start my month or so long mental preparation to trip again (Once or twice annually) I know I"m getting close when I'm spending more and more time watching Terence vids. I'm 50 with kids still in the house and a business owner so it's not as simple as it once was. Besides the fact it's still, after all these years, a little frightening. Even when the stars align (it's 9pm, the little ones are in bed, no work or commitments the next day, my wife's been informed (per Terence "Don't come out and ask me if I'm okay, I'm talking to God right now!)) and I'm munching 5g of dried mushrooms out of a baggie, I'm like "Oooooh shit, here we go. Are you sure about this?" Lol... Especially since my last trip is still very vivid.
Vivid in the sense that while preparing last time, I came across (coincidence?) a Terence talk where he said if you ever get too deep, sing. After 2 hours in, the mushroom told me a few things I needed to know and I felt like "Okay...I'm done, ready for bed, this was easy, I got what I needed!" Then the mushroom said, rather loudly "HEY HEY, you are 2 hours into a 5g trip Jeff. You're going to be here awhile." Whoa. Next thing I know I'm singing "Stay the course" by Iration, watching Fast times at Ridgemont High on DVR trying to keep my shit together. Interestingly enough though, I could have written a book titled "Thoughts and life lessons gleaned from Ridgemont High" that, in my mind, everyone needed to know Lol.....

My first deemster experience couldn’t have been in a kinder environment. Oregon Country Fair sitting in the main stage meadow with the Bay Area band Moon Alice deep in a psychedelic groove.
Beautiful colorful people many in costume, some in their bitrthday suits. And natural decor everywhere. Tree houses, a zillion smiling faces young and old. Aside from my friend Karen and I noticing the trees communicating with each other; I felt as if I had just entered ‘toon town.’ (Roger Rabbit) Everyone became translucent, looking in ones eyes it was as if I could see clear to another day.
Rabbits, they seem to always to have a role.

Well the memories of something get opened or light is made of machine elves, so I would guess both elf/fairies and magical pixie dust exist. It's just the elf machines are some syntactical beings co inhabiting light and can transfer into our metabolism system, and pixie dust is light mixed with these elves or elf potential. Something or another.
the first time i crossed the membrane like he say i was 16 years old, took around 8grams of shrooms me too, it was one of my first tries, i wasnt prepare for this, i couldnt believe it but it was also like he said too obvious that it was the truth, i also couldnt come back to the real me, the mind concepts that burnt away, i wonder if it is elves that i sometimes heard... afterwards it took only a small dose for me to remember my higher self and reach out trough that membrane and gain the wisdom i left in that realm, because i know too much to be able to play the game of life if i am aware of all the knowledge i made it trough.... (akhashic records) last time, these ''elf voices'' when it kicked in and i started hearing voices and they said: ''the king is back! the king is back !'' (am i supposed to be a king in other realms?!) i had one ''helpful'' entity that guided me trough the steps of awakening until i was pure enough to reach for the ''universal knowledge'' as i called it before knowing the existence of akhashic records, and yet another entity, more powerful and respected amongst the small ones(elves?) that were around, and the helpful entity from beyond the stars (yet i was myself above earth skies in some way). as i was ''reading'' (it is more like electromagnetic encoding written within the matter of the universe? hard to describe what happens on the other side, they speak with music and sing with colour: it means we understand trough our emotional side instead of the logical, well, in my words, because you really see heat, taste colors, ive had xray vision also..... so much i went trough yet only terence and some ancient guru seem aware of what i been trough... they call it samadhi, the state i was... but to end my story, i felt a force, a presence, them other entities went away and hid, i didnt know how to go away fast like that i mean i couldnt hide my toughts, it saw right trough me and what i was doing, i wasnt allowed to read into that book of knowledge, i wasnt ready for it. it meant something about the physical self, we could say, the 3rd density incarnation that is me, had to be more grounded, more solid and stable, to hold the spiritual knowledge, like a ying and yang i couldnt become unbanlanced and be sane, in fact, for about a week i experienced paranoia hallucinations, voices, almost went insane... i heard celestial music also when i was being brought to the doors that lead to the enlightenment (symbolic) but i knew that if i went beyond this ''knowledge'' as i already knew too much but its like when you know something is there, your eyes are closed but you know when you open them you will see it, i had the question, the answer was there, if i opened my eyes, (if i accepted to hear what was) i would become enlightened but i understood i could never come back to my incarnation, my feeling of it was vanishing, combustion...
i have so much to share... im 30 now. the meaning of life is love, the knowledge is right there, just like radio frequencies in the air ready to be tunned into with the right ''vibe'' but it goes way beyond that. but in simple words, we dont have to become the most intelligent person, we just have to open our heart to love. love being the highest frequency of vibrational (we are electro magnetic vibrational energy) something like that, but it was hard to bring back info from there, sometimes i use my own way to ''analogy'' i understood how religions started with someone like me that saw it all, god also. saw it... i know how all religions are bshit now, except the basic idea behind it that started from the contact with this truth, and then the mental wrote what it cannot grasp, so it got tainted from... yeah....

i wondered if so afterwards from looking other people's maps of this domain, my answer is NO, because i was already detached up to a point i was aware world is perfect in its imperfection and everything is being taken care of by ''earth'' itself as it is a living being... i recently came across ''Essence of Dharma'' he makes videos explaining the indian concepts of life, the vedic .... i forgot lol its new to me, but he also had the same experience i did, he was 16, he took acid and saw it all, suppressed the memory from his mind and travel india became monk.... for now he has the best ''map'' describing my experience, the living earth would be the ''goddess'' from what he explains, the feminine part of Shiva, she is.
I am aware there is 2 sides of the world, that other side being this mysterious world of spirits if we could say, somehow knowledge we get from this side we are towards it can only serve as a map, we may each discover the truth by simply using mathematics with ideas to calculate the truth.... as above so below, a+b=a/b ..... i forgot how to do that but these rules help do it, on the other side this makes sense....
red myself and last sentence i mean, we logically here can use this info we gather as a map, to oriente ourself on the other side where all is new and mysterious, but if we have a basic idea, we can avoid turning around the same concept 3 times before being able to recognize it, the truth i talk about, calculate, all this happen on the other side tho, i tried to it here but attachment to the ego makes it nearly impossible to use life experiences and see them from a pêrspective that it is not my life, my experience, i see it from inside too much, cannot look at the bigger picture from outside, our life experiences multiplied by the active life experiences recorded in the matrix perhaps divided by the experience that is not giving and uplifting answer (i think it is how i ''repaired'' my karma, i saw the movie of my life at the speed of light yet it only spent 10 mins in real life....)
i’m 17 and i feel like this is what i need to try i feel i am ready for this. but i feel so lost in life and i feel this will help me my intentions are good and i want to seek this knowledge and i really want to experience this. i’m ready to let go of my ego i just want to see what this experience will tell me and about everything. but at the same time idk if i am ready or will be.

When i first was there i wasnt ready for all this knowledge, it is like the life we live dosent matter anymore as we see it is just a little conception within the whole vastness that this conception cannot apprehend within its limitations.... the language itself has words that block the pathway to this.... our logic is not able to apprehend this, somehow i was able to transfer information from my higher self into my logic, into some kind of metaphore, allegory ? anyway. i would say question everything, your beliefs, what you take for granted, what you have been told etc. make your own truth out of your life experience and you shall find what you are looking for. im not saying dont do like me, it happened to me like this i been told because i am not from the same essence of the humans incarnated here... it is a path where all i loved has been taken away from me and my hearth torn appart in some way i can open it to anyone even if he is threatening me, i feel the sadness in his heart from compassion.... all i wanted when i knew this much is to forget all so i can come back to live the game of life, wich i coudlnt because i understood it for what it was and was invited to transcend into higher planes of existence wich i denied for the love of them people here, especially my mother, but i think i already told this story of mine :)

I did 8 grams and talked to a sort of fluidic being that kept telling me I needed to let it go. As soon as i had thought it might be talking about my death he spun around and seemed enter the shapes around me. Don't recommend it in an unsafe place. In 40 minutes of taking lizard king mushrooms and golden caps the room was unrecognizable.
Set and Setting is indeed the key. A safe place and correct intent and desire to do the substances.

There's a part of me that is fascinated by the divine and nostalgic, illusion-shattering abilities of these plants and believes that they're are the cure to everything, but there's also a part of me that feels that they're purpose is to reflect what we already know without these substances. it's always a reflection neither good nor bad. I also struggle with weed dependency. maybe my search for enlightenment is what keeps me in this loop of constant confusion and dissatisfaction. why must I always want more at the same time wanting nothing.
Advice: just stop smoking weed. You'll feel better and find a more clear mind. Weed confuses the mind IMO.

Pretty interesting. I remember a Buddhist priest I suppose you could call him, came and talked to my college class. He explained a lot about his way of life and how it impacts him and influenced him. He said he had gone on a journey for enlightenment for nearly a decade and a half. So someone asked him if he had ever been truly enlightened. He explained that of course he hasn't. He said that he would never reach enlightenment through meditation because he "already tried". He said the moment he stopped trying was the closest he had been to divination for decades. The thought that he was trying to achieve enlightenment was one of the last thoughts he could never clear his mind of. It was his goal, it was his "trying". He had to let go of try.
I still somewhat believe there are moments of my life that have been fairly close to some form of enlightenment. Moments that pierce the veil of lowly samsara. I wonder if maybe other people have more of these moments than I do since I've had a chronic stomach illness and anxiety most of my life. I am constantly cynical, pessimistic even, comedic and so on. But sometimes I just am. And in those moments I find some of the greatest reasons to live

The ego can never gain anything from it. It's really all about living more in your heart than mind. And for me it's impossible to do that while smoking. But they give me brief moments of absolute divination as you say. I live for those moments and am constantly seeking them. It's hard to let go and let them come sometimes

I feel like I met something like that in my first salvia trip. I saw all the ideological paths in of my life, all the superfluous artificial identities, recreated in small plastic figurines on what seemed like a conveyor belt made of light and color. That image used for the video is pretty close to stuff ive seen during high level tripping. Not quite right..but there are definitely similarities. Ive named that type of imagery "aztec alien". With eyes open on dmt that aztec alien "filter" is over everything. Such clean sharp lines seemingly made of light. Its all so hard to describe and remember accurately but kudos to the artist who made such a close depiction.

I am amazed at how much of my dmt trip I remember. Last night I was speaking to the beings of light, only they weren’t elves but they where disguised as the people I was with last night and in the same setting I was in, however I knew it wasn’t the people these beings where disguised as who I was talking to because the conversation being had was beyond human language, it was like I was communicating telepathically and like Terrence said they where showing me how we where some how connected and I could do what it was that they where doing. Things kept happening in a strange predictable sequence of three in a way that we could tell the future and we where all laughing at how we knew exactly what was happening and what would happen next.
