Can’t wait for South Park to make an episode roasting Ai. After this it’s asking for it.
They already did
@@joshbanner7398I saw that episode.
What season and episode?
@@DevourgorgonDeep Learning from season 26. Made of fun of chatgpt.
Im pretty sure the ending to that wpisode was written by chat gpt as a the bug punchline aswell lol.
Matt and Trey should sue their asses.
But then again, they'd just write an episode parodying this crap.
Can't go around suing everyone all the time. It's just not a healthy mindset. They'll just make an episode.
They probably working on it as we speak😂
Parodying this would be better.
Literally nothing to sue. They have more to lose trying to get a case. There are no monetary damages so they risk creating unknown precedent for nothing.
Sure. Then they open themselves up to lawsuits every time they use someone's image or likeness or someone's intellectual property
Was gonna say Matt and Trey should sue, but then that would imply this as an actual competitor or threat. Definetly deserving of a south park roast.
"AI, how did it end?"
AI: "The End."
Lmaooo I’ve never heard Martin laugh that hard
Listen to the Spill Oogieloves review

Neil Breen is looking at this and getting ideas. 🤔💡
"I just wanna see how this ends."
*ends*
It seems like Artificial intelligence can only make trash. I am curious to see when this trend dies.
15:45 “Th-th-the, th-th-the, That’s all folks!” 🤣🤣🤣
I'm just scared that a year from now the social media is going to be packed with AI generated content like this, You already have those weird Disney/Superhero stuff for kids. I think AI content needs to banned on certain platforms.
Unfortunately as someone living in a country where Facebook has dominance, AI content generation sludge is already filling up social media feeds here, a mix of odd posts of AI generated Jesus, kids in poverty creating works from trash, undressed women and Koreans, some of which are with Jesus even 😂
Inconveniently, we know as well that most social media platforms.. happen to also be tied to companies pushing for the AI buzzword and underlying ML tech, as messy as it is. So there is not much reason for them to care, or if they somehow are willing then they would be more inclined to use AI systems as the easy way out to well tackle AI generated stuff which probably wouldn't be as helpful as we would think.
It's still cool that they got the actual Zuckerberg to voice his character...
It’s not really him it’s AI
@@SHANE_M_TAPIA that's the joke
@@XEzomoX I know bro I’m just being ☝🏽🤓
Chris Miller recently said that ai would never be used in the Spiderverse movies because "One of the main goals of the films is to create new visual styles that have never been seen in a studio CG film, not steal the generic plagiarized average of other artists' work." That's the biggest problem with ai currently. It has the ability to be a great tool for artists, but it was built to steal the works of both big and small artists so that ANYONE can use their work without permission and for any purpose. In order for AI to ever be part of the art industry, whether that be in animation or any other field, is if protections are put in place for artists first. Once ai scrappers are unable to steal so recklessly from any available creations on the internet, then it can be repurposed into an art tool rather than a generator working off of stolen assets.
Chris Miller, the guy implicated in an expose of poor working conditions resulting in inhumane treatment of the actual animators doing the Spider-Verse movies, resulting in the Beyond movie being delayed indefinitely?
They already used AI to help animate ITSV and ATSV, they just called it "machine learning" to deceive people.
@@ultimamage3 Well that's incredibly disheartening to hear, but I'd rather the movie be delayed than the animators be forced to work to the extent that it impacts their health.
I googled about the ai use in the previous Spiderverse films, and while an ai was used, it was in the use of a program that allowed the animators to adjust line density and other elements rather than generating the entire animation for them. It was a tool that they could control, rather than creating the visuals for them using art from other artists.
If it saves money it will be used. 5yrs away from it being common
I think that's wishful thinking, don't be too naive. While I'm pro-AI tools, I do see there is an issue with data privacy and these models taking it without the creators permissions. You're concept would work out in a perfect world, but even if some people with good intentions implemented a system like that for training AI models the models wouldn't work.
They need vast amounts of data to get to a particular level of competency, or otherwise the models would be practically useless. Unfortunately, the only way these models get there is by learning on everything and anything it can to get to that place. It's only when these models can generate synthetic data of its own that can create its own unique art creations is when it can truely go without training on unauthorized works, but like I said this wouldn't be possible with out an initial data set to work with.
I know there is contention in the artistic communities about how this tech is being used to "steal" and "plagiarize". The fact is this is a reductive and reactionary take on what actually happens behind the scenes of an AI model. Eventually, when these models do start achieving the protections and applications you seek to work for and assists artists, we'll be long pass those criticisms, and everyone would have forgotten all about "The problems with AI art" anyway.
@@14supersonic You think that everyone will forget that the art generator that companies are hoping to replace their workers with was built by having it copy and manipulate the works of all artists on a worldwide scale against their will and without their consent? The people who don't care will forget I'm sure. Everyone else won't.
A.I art is just art theft with a Tech Bros name.
Not really
💯🥊
It looks like that Logan Paul scam cartoon he tried to peddle.
Dink doink
Even Block 13 is better than this. Lol
15:45 Let's see how the short ends...

This was my favorite part of the AI show.
That brief South Park moment in the American Dad multiverse episode looked better than this.
And that brief clip from Fooly Cooly
The Inevitable South Park Special for this will be glorious.
"Embarrassed." Congrats guys, you found the word that describes this AI slop. I only disagree with Martin on one point: humans aren't THIS friggin lazy
They would have to be. Whomever said this is great to put out into the world after reviewing this is human 😂 they pressed send and were proud of this .
Think of where AI was five years ago. Now imagine where it will be five years from now.
@@Dennis-nc3vw absolutely hackable and used for degenerative purposes.
it's so lifeless and forgettable, damn.
Only reason I'd want to use this is to conceptualize my ideas.. I hate how people use this for laziness and "profit". Defeats the point of creation
I gotta say, I'm in no way surprised that Julian thinks this AI shit is interesting or cool.
Hey Julian: Fire your barber for that silly haircut
Current drawing programs that do the in-betweens for already drawn poses are ai.
The difference between the Ai bros(who are basically the metaverse bros in that they're riding a bubble with wild promises) and people who actually know ai is that AI bros out here taking science fiction as fact and not realizing Ai can only do so much because computers are dumb af.
2:45 Thanks for the animation lesson, Mr Coleman. Better than my teachers.
15:23 mr. Thomas, there’s no need to call me out like that. Xp
Wth was that in the beginning?!😂
6:12 😂😂😂 wtf is going on here!? The bridge is going into the water, the wires aren't connected to anything and is just randomly everywhere
This is not going to last, including the app.
I can’t wait to see South Park roast AI
They already did
So what's the point of artistic expression then when they keep trying to shove shitty A.I. programs like THIS in our face??
I. Want. Artistic. Impression, damnit!!!!
Would you be satisfied when agi does it?
That's crazy
Can't wait for matt and trey make a episode destroying this
They already roasted AI before with the handshake AI and Chatgpt but this right here
And Julian wonders why people constantly call him an idiot. He was really hoping they would be on board with this garbage. "It's interesting it's so interesting. You could see the great potential". 🤡
Also Julian has a voice for print.
He's not an artist, writer or anyone else who's passion and future is at stake. Particularly if these programs do keep getting better.
Studios want these programs to get better, because they don't care, they just want to save as much money as they can that will go into the studio head pockets.
It CAN be interesting if it wasn’t used for stupid “tools” like this. I’m a person who’s passionate about the symbiotic relationship between art and tech, and this is just ridiculous. This procedural generation trend is a bastardization to both the art AND the tech.
I was really surprised to hear that from him.
He's right.
Matt and Trey, do something!!!
Do something!
They can't
The Flash animation Arthur used for some seasons is better than this.. picture some poor manga being adapted like this.
Ai can stop now. Nobody likes that ish! 😂
The best part of this nightmare was Martin's laugh! That gave me some much needed life! 😂
That's why ai is good as a handicap, not making a whole production out of it,
you need 90 to 70 percent of real manual artist work to make it look and sound good.
And I think this Program could be good for CZcams poops.
9:33 "It´s easier than animating probably..." God this sentence is so mind-numbing. people just don´t get it...
Look up ToonCrafter AI, in between animation just changed. 5yrs away from content in demand. Personal use
@@Lincoln_Vailbot
@@CulcoyoteCosmico Actually no, I literally just finished watching a video on it. It's a real thing that you can already use. Between this and other things like Sora which is coming later in the year, there are already things better than what we watched here.
Don't let what you see now fool you. As the nature of AI the progress exponentially becomes better than you can begin to realize. It only gets better from here, not worse. 5 years is probably a modest estimation. There's likely already stuff like this being used with out you realizing it.
@@14supersonic yep. They just don't get it
Wow, I didn’t realize the future of AI animation is going all the way back to Clutch Cargo
As an artist and animator in online art school i do not support Ai I use a Wacom tablet and I want to create my own cartoon by hand and not just typeing
How is this legal? Seriously
Easy AI. And they're not making money on it. And it's south park "inspired" they cant sue for this
6:34 Is that the voice actress Erica Lindbeck? Is this one of the programs that's using that voice actor's stolen voice?
Who in their right mind was expecting this to be good?
“A.I” is a net negative. Especially for someone that considers themselves a creative
These characters don't blink. It makes them look creepy.
That show didn't end, it just *stopped*
Enjoy your podcast! Do you have a website with your animations or designs?
I love the shout out Korey gave to animators. I'm glad I got to meet him in LA a month ago. I hope he got to see my animations a little bit.
They roasted chatgpt, now AI is roasting them back. 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Always skip julian
This is still scary as hell. Five years ago AI could not tell a coherent story. Now it tells stories that are coherent, but bland and generic. So in another five years or ten years, will it be on par with human writers? And when AI can do art just as well as humans, what's left for humanity?
Korey does better animation than this 😂
And here I thought NFT cartoons were the worse things to watch. Just wow
Cant wait for season 27 or a new special making fun of this
The only way I will believe that an AI is legit is if the program begs to be killed during the demonstration.
And this is why I hate AI.
Its going to be around till you die
I don’t. At the end of the day, it’s only a tool. I blame the people behind it.
The copyright situation may protect artists jobs in that works solely created by prompts as A.I. is not protected by copyright law. Corporations, studios, and publishers notoriously are protective of intellectual property and copyright. Well, if they seek to bypass using a human creator to save some money by using A.I., the joke is that new property cannot be copyrighted. So, they'll have to go the old fashioned route instead if they want to maintain ownership: Paying real human creators.
That’s exactly what I’ve been thinking. And considering the copyright question is being asked in multiple countries, even having one country denying copyright ownership would be a risk to the studio’s bottom line.
Somewhere Michael Moore must be smiling his biggest sigh of relief. "They won't hate me for that documentary scene anymore!"
15:45 That's all folks!!😂😂😂
A.I. more entertaining than anything Hollywood has put out in the last 5 years 😂
Especially when you get to create movies you want, or reboots or sequels that never came to pass.
This looks like something some kid would've made on Flash in 2007. The AI sounds fun to mess around with. I can see people making rancid things with the prompts but as a business? You can get the garbage out of here.
Cartman: Nooooo!
I’ve seen flash animation from the year 2000 that looks like across the Spider-Verse compared to this lol
Korey keeps saying well I'm an animator. Really, I knew you used to be but I've never seen anything you've made in years, do you even do it anymore?
The laughing got me! Such an amazing moment!
A.I. Conspiracy Nut: AI WILL BE THE DOWNFALL OF HUMANITY!!! PLANES WILL CRASH INTO OUR HOMES, YOUR PHONES WILL BEAM YOUR LOCATIONS FOR MISSILE STRIKES, THE MACHINES WILL RISE AND PEG US IN OUR SLEEEEEEP!!
A.I. Conspiracy Nut: *watches this*
FORMER A.I. Conspiracy Nut: I think we're going to be o.k.
Paranoid
lol the animated mouths overlapped the default mouths
We gotta use AI as a tool. I have a AI music channel with shorts for music producers to sample. We can make AI create 70s soul songs that are copyright free. So you can get a vintage feel and not have to worry about clearance.
Honestly, if the technology advances, I still dont think that will improve the quality of the characters and writing. Good writing (or considered writing at least) comes from an understanding of editing that the people who just want to prompt dont have the patience for.
Exactly. If this was truly going to catch on, it would need something big like what Toy Story did with 3D animation. Something with critical acclaim and financial success. Considering that these programs are designed to absolve the user of creative control, I really don’t see that happening.
I'm dying to hear what you Double Toasted guys think about the 1950s Super Panavision 70 videos that recreate well-known movies or TV shows in the style of 1940s or 1950s movie trailers. The creators unabashedly use AI to create those videos, but the way they turn out is sometimes creepy, especially around the humans' eyes.
I watched this on the Twitch livestream night. I laughed so hard at the unexpected end my stomach started hurting. I am so glad DT uploaded this segment to CZcams. It is priceless.
I can help you with pose-to-pose animation using mobile apps. Use a notebook to write down prompts as reusable presets for your animations. Compared to traditional animation, it's much faster and more efficient. As an experienced cartoon animator, switching to AI digital imaging has significantly streamlined my workflow.
I’d love for you to show me this. Can you email me your information?
“I just want to see how this ends” Beautiful timing
yeah this looks pretty bad like most A.I. shows, but I've been keeping an eye on a few AI generated parody shows particularly Family Guy and SpongeBob and I think they have picked up a lot of steam since they've first started streaming. A lot of community input leading to some incremental improvements; and you know also people occasionally trying to purposely break it for fun and also some of the absolute most wild, crazy, out of pocket, insane, offensive, degenerate, sick, twisted, horrifying, scripts and plot lines THE INTERNET can imagine. That being said I saw Plankton sing "Live and learn" from Sonic Adventure 2 on stage at the Goofy Goober with all the passion in his tiny soul and it was awesome.
Martin hasn’t heard BBL Drizzy?
South Park is still on? And watched?
Yes it is
Only on Paramount Plus at this point
A year from now this program will make content near indistinguishable from whatever source material it draws from. AI has already gotten ahead of us and of course we haven't put anything in place to prepare for how this will dramatically affect our society.
Got any more of them Family Guy cutaways?
Looking for an AI song that entertains, check out Obscurest Vinyl with such amazing songs like "You Look Like You Could Use A 'nikcuF Lamp", "Ain't That A.Kick In The tnuC", "My Arms Are Just 'nikcuF Stuck Like This", and "Dustin' Off This Ol' Butthole".
Wait till you see what it can do... Alpha tester...
I just saw the beginning but does the bros really think south park has fluid animation? Idk guys it it looks okay imo
It's okay to use AI... But you still have to put in the work to give it the human touch.
Kinda difficult to do when the program is designed to take creative control away from the user.
Lol yall laugh now cuz it’s still a little early. But in like 10 years we’ll all be consuming only AI generated content. It’s inevitable like thanos. Dread it run from it
Oh so they credited themselves at the end?! Only way they should be able to do that is if they also credit every person on whose work they trained their AI.
They need to make their next special on AI
Anyone who uses a.i shouldn't be aloud to upload to the internet.
I think the scene in the classroom looks more like Regular Show and Steven Universe
Nah man, check out Udio for making Ai music. It's INSANE and it's free. I feel like record companies have been using this this for years. It's like the wizard of oz
Matt. Trey. GET EM
Jesus fable simulation, how did you go from wolves in the walls to this?!
To be fair.. It's no worse than all the junk that used to fill up youtube kids a few years back..
We almost lost Martin cause of that ending LOL
Does anybody, other than Mr. Korey and Mr. Martin get paid for being on the show?
hhhhhhhmmmmm . . . The main issue appears to be the storyline more than the animation. I think the major issue is people trying to do 100% AI. Take this and tweak it. I suspect What will happen is doing AI scene by Scene. Still need people to make the cuts and design the system. Once you can get repeatable characters it will work out.
I don’t like 99% of AI art but I didn’t hate it as a concept until I watched this. You don’t need a really sappy speech about “this is soulless and AI art will never live up to human creativity” to convince someone when you can just show them this and have them say “wow, this is absolute shit.”
Why say never? This tech is advancing at an alarming rate. AI now is nothing like it was five years ago, and is likely nothing like it will be five years in the future.
Oh ai 😫 here we go again 🙄 😒 😑.
18 minutes in
Yep I hate AI
Interesting it’s just like a weird dream
Idky people are surprised...a.i. can't replicate human humor...There's rules to comedy, like how to construct a joke but humor can't be "taught" to a machine or program.
Animators are already grossly exploited so replacing them with AI is pointless.
This kind of wretched AI comedy flailing would never have happened under Funnybot.
