Shelly, apply the concealer and let it sit for like a minute or so and then gently blend. This really works for me with concealers that could use more coverage.

@@michellesmith702 It also works really well with the Maybelline Fit Me concealer (my favorite across the board for dry skin) and the Loreal Pro Glow, except the Pro Glow's lightest shade isn't very light. Great trick though, right? I like this new one, too but not sure if it beats the Fit Me yet. I think it's a bit lighter coverage than the Fit Me.

I just purchased this concealer this past weekend and I love it! To be fair I don't have mature skin, BUT my under eyes are very dry so it takes a special type of concealer to make my under eyes look good haha. I highly recommend it!

I agree, i prefer the radiant finish as well..i'm am partial to Loreal..i been using Loreal foundations & concealer for 40 yrs..never lets me down...looks amazing on you.
They discontinue a lot of good products, but so does every company (Urban Decay Naked original was my holy grail and I haven’t found anything close to as light, yet covers and doesn’t make me dry or greasy- I’m 50 but still break out). I think some products are before their time, like Too Faced had a radiant one in a pretty glass bottle that I bet you would sell now that everyone wants more dewy skin.
Also! Lol The foundation looks amazing! It looked fantastic in the beginning and seemed to just wear to skin perfection. It just looks like your skin is perfect at the end!

I bought the foundation and tried it on with primer. Wow! It looked pretty good, I will try it with primer. I bought the mascara but have not tried it yet. I bought it on Amazon and it is cheaper.

Healthy glowy without looking oily ... love the way they seem to settle in and look smooth and natural. Definitely on my list to try next. Also interested in the new Almay blushes. I think they have a good pick though there's only 4 shades currently. They look as though they would be great on textured skin and not be totally flat Matte but not glittery... just a sheer sheen of radiance. Drugstore is bringing it this year! I’ve been anxiously awaiting for this review! I need to try this concealer but I’m a little nervous about the shade range. I’m an NC30 and there don’t seem to be any neutral or cool shades (my concealer preference) in my color range.
Great video. Looking good. The shade looks too dark for me and my casper complexion. Hopefully, they come out with more shades. It looks as good as CT on you. 😉

Hiya toots! I had to report that this concealer is fantastic. It arrived today and I couldn’t be happier. I bought the shade Ivory and it matches my skin tone exactly. I have darkness in the trough area and I used a color corrector. It upped the coverage level too. What I couldn’t believe is after many hours, I didn’t look dry and crepey. Yay!! I do have really dry skin and under eye, every concealer settles in/becomes quite cakey but I just bought the elf hydrating one, based on your review! It is great for me! I’ve almost finished my Flower Beauty Light Illusion concealer and I already have a back up of my favourite which is the Maybelline Age Rewind. When I do need another one, I’ll give this one a go. I only use one concealer at a time because, you know, I’m not a CZcamsr. 😉
Hi Shelly! For me, unless I color correct, no concealer will cover my dark under eyes. I’ve tried every corrector and found that Charlotte Tilbury’s is amazing! Then most concealers will work for me over that. Love your videos 🥰❤️
I love the Charlotte Tilbury and I love the undertone of Fair 2 in CT. I'm not sure anything will ever beat it but this is as close as any concealer has ever gotten!

I purchased the new Loreal Foundation. I like it but it is a light coverage. I have dark under eyes and I really like the Loreal Infallible concealer. I want to try the Jouer concealer and Make up Forever concealer.
Wow, 2 for 2 with the new L'Oreal line. :-) I'm so frustrated that I can't find this line in any store near me. I thought I saw it at an Ulta store a couple of weeks ago but that was something else in gold tubes. :-( I hate choosing shades online when I don't know what undertone they are. Guess I'll just have to be patient a bit longer. Love the fact that it's hydrating and doesn't crease. A homerun in my book! :-D

I just bought this. I like it. Very similar to the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Here is Australia we were given two colour options... light or medium. Come on L'Oreal... we have lots of skin tones here as well! Haha.
ooh nice! I've got to go get some. I usually use the CT Magic Away concealer as well, but my allergy eyes are dry and crepey, and i just can't get it to work well right now. With that concealer right now, I look the way I do when the Tight Eye dries ..about 95! haha It's not a good look

Have you tried Nars radiant creamy concealer yet? I have been using it for a few years and love it. They also came out with a matte concealer in a jar so I tried that one as well. What really worked for me was layering the creamy one first, then the matte on top and WOW, What a difference it has made in staying power. The downside is the price though, so I was wondering if you have tried that one how it compares to L’Oreal?
Yes the Nars was my first high end concealer purchase ever :) I do enjoy it, but it's not as smoothing as some of the newer ones that are coming out with explicitly smoothing ingredients. (For example, the Charlotte Tilbury, which is my favorite, has some sort of willow bark extract for smoothing. I haven't figured out what the L'Oreal has that makes it so smoothing, but it's something!) That's the main difference between those and the Nars - the CT and Age Perfect smooth out lines better.
I really like this one. I do have to kind of pat it out a few times over the first hour but I can not use powder under my eyes so it can be difficult to find a concealer that is moisturizing enough but that also sets down so I usually prefer to just do it this way. I love the foundation also. The radiance of both are so incredibly flattering on me and I will wear either as an all-over foundation. But. The shades. Seriously. I barely get by with the lightest. Who do we talk to? Honestly. Does anyone know the best way to campaign for lighter (or what have you) shades? *also* Can anyone tell me how this foundation compares to the It Cosmetics Illumination CC???
Hey Shelly! You inspired me to try the CoverGirl Trublend Concealer and I really love it but I have noticed that some days it can look a tiny bit drying. I love the coverage it has and I love that it sets down so I don't have to use any powder. BUT... I loved how smooth your under eyes looked with this one, I just hate powdering my under eyes and need a little more coverage. Soooo, here is what I'm wondering. How would the 2 mix? I'm thinking about getting this one and doing like 1 dot of this and 2 of the CoverGirl. It might be the perfect concealer!! Have you tried mixing the 2? I am absolutely going to grab the foundation from this line though, as soon as I can find my shade in stock somewhere, lol. I loved your review on it and it looked beautiful!
I bet these would mix great because the Age Perfect foundation mixes fantastically (I've been mixing it since it's a tiny bit too dark for me). I have the same issue with the TruBlend - slightly drying on some days. But I love its look and coverage. I bet they'd mix very well!
Is that brush the same as Taylor Wynn uses for concealer? It looks perfect for it! I've been trying to use the Tati Blendiful for it (and several other things), but so far it's quite a fail for me. I *need* a better way to blend my concealer!
Top 2 are Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away in 2 Fair (my holy grail), and a very close second is Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection (I wear L5 in the summer when I self-tan but haven't bought a winter shade yet).
Have u ever tried/reviewed any products from Catrice that u really enjoyed ? I just saw it here in Toronto , so I guess along with MUR that’s a line they’re starting to carry :) I did buy one of their concealers Off of Amazon, but other than that that’s it . Any good products from that line u enjoyed , or did reviews on that I can check out ? I still have to pick up this concealer - I’m pacing myself, I just finally grabbed the Maybelline Falsies Lashlift mascara. But I’m smart - I alwys buy from places I can return it, even after opening and trying👍🏻;) I hate being stuck w products I hated and will never use #smartshopper
I need to try more Catrice but they do have some good stuff! Their Prime & Fine Dewy Glow setting spray is my absolute favorite drugstore setting spray. It's similar to the finish of the MAC Fix+ - maybe a little bit more dewy. Their HD Liquid Coverage foundation is a total dupe for the original Fenty, right down to the ingredients (though Catrice has far fewer shades). I like their bullet lipsticks too.
I like the Flower Beauty concealer but it's not as hydrating and not as smoothing as the Age Perfect. I haven't done an official review of the Flower Beauty but it would probably fall somewhere in the B/B+ range (which is totally wearable to me but doesn't beat out my favorites).
Geek Out of Water ok thanks! I was thinking they would be similar for some reason but I’ll have to check out this new L’Oréal concealer along with the foundation sometime in the near future. They both sound really nice and I tend to use and like a lot of the same products as you. Plus they’re inexpensive so that’s a plus! Thanks again!!
Bummer..another drugstore brand that is a pass at swatch. Not light enough for my pale/pink skin. For shade reference, I have Revolution Stick foundation in F1 and that is just a tad bit light. I presume I am between a 1 and 2 in their range. LOL..but where am I??
I'm hoping based on the way the numbers jump that they've built in some room to add more shades in the future. I would want a shade 1 lighter than their current lightest.

Mostly just stopped ordering out pizza constantly 😂I'm trying to be smarter about my dinners. I eat well all day and then by the time I get home from work I'm so fried that I don't want to cook. I got a Ninja Foodi air fryer oven and that has been helping!

My guess is based on the numbering, they might be planning to add more shades down the road.

When you swatched it , I thought it was going to be darker than it looks. I'm glad it's not too dark! :)

I am absolutely going to grab the foundation from this line though, as soon as I can find my shade in stock somewhere, lol. I loved your review on it and it looked beautiful!
I bet these would mix great because the Age Perfect foundation mixes fantastically (I've been mixing it since it's a tiny bit too dark for me). I have the same issue with the TruBlend - slightly drying on some days. But I love its look and coverage. I bet they'd mix very well!

Is that brush the same as Taylor Wynn uses for concealer? It looks perfect for it! I've been trying to use the Tati Blendiful for it (and several other things), but so far it's quite a fail for me. I *need* a better way to blend my concealer!
I'm not sure which concealer brush Taylor uses! I have a few and cycle through whatever is clean :)

Top 2 are Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away in 2 Fair (my holy grail), and a very close second is Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection (I wear L5 in the summer when I self-tan but haven't bought a winter shade yet).

I need to try more Catrice but they do have some good stuff! Their Prime & Fine Dewy Glow setting spray is my absolute favorite drugstore setting spray. It's similar to the finish of the MAC Fix+ - maybe a little bit more dewy. Their HD Liquid Coverage foundation is a total dupe for the original Fenty, right down to the ingredients (though Catrice has far fewer shades). I like their bullet lipsticks too.

How do you think this compares to the flower beauty concealer?
I like the Flower Beauty concealer but it's not as hydrating and not as smoothing as the Age Perfect. I haven't done an official review of the Flower Beauty but it would probably fall somewhere in the B/B+ range (which is totally wearable to me but doesn't beat out my favorites).
Geek Out of Water ok thanks! I was thinking they would be similar for some reason but I’ll have to check out this new L’Oréal concealer along with the foundation sometime in the near future. They both sound really nice and I tend to use and like a lot of the same products as you. Plus they’re inexpensive so that’s a plus! Thanks again!!

Bummer..another drugstore brand that is a pass at swatch. Not light enough for my pale/pink skin. For shade reference, I have Revolution Stick foundation in F1 and that is just a tad bit light. I presume I am between a 1 and 2 in their range. LOL..but where am I??

I'm hoping based on the way the numbers jump that they've built in some room to add more shades in the future. I would want a shade 1 lighter than their current lightest.

Yes I agree. The foundation runs a bit dark too.
Alright, so compared to the ELF Hydrating...
Elf has a little bit better coverage but the Loreal is far more smoothing.
