Hello, I was able to install mouse toggle on my Onn box, but now I cannot use the middle select button anymore. This button now toggles mouse mode off and on and does not allow me to select anything. I must have accidentally set that middle button as the boss key and am now stuck in a vicious cycle. Is there any other way to select something using other keys on the remote?
After android system webview got updated yesterday it stopped all the mouse toggles i had and tried others but nowt.gets frustrating when this happens out of nowhere 😡👍

Help! I cannot navigate the Downloader screen to make selections to download APK files. The circle curser goes from one end to the other in one step. (example: all the way from the top to the bottom- from the left side all the way to the right side). I cannot choose anything in the middle. What am I doing wrong? 🤨

Hi Troy. I tried to install the mouse toggle on my Nvidia Shield but I keep getting the message Error: Couldn't create file. Is your storage full? My storage is not full. It has lots of room. I ran my DefSquid and cleaned all my cache out just to be use but it won't let me install. Any suggestions?

Hi!! It didn't work for me.. My X88 Pro 13 Android TV Box (rk3528) it's partially unable to start the ADB services.. It's don't those pop-up with allow button.. The mouse mode until it works but the scroll mode not. The permission alerts shows all green letters. I tried the ADB commands to full allow but it's doesn't works well or I don't know wich command to use.
I experienced this once on my FireStick (before Amazon killed the option to have (internal) 'adb settings' to function. 'TechDoctorUK' (another great CZcamsr) had his own utility app called 'TDUK Speed' which allowed user to modify the three 'animation scale' setting options. Because it depended on the 'adb settings' to function, it now no longer works. This also busted his 1-touch 'App Closer' and 'Cache Cleaner' apps for FireOS devices (along with the virtual Mouse Toggle apps) ... BUT THEY DO STILL WORK ON Android-TV/Google-TV devices! This would allow the device to be 'snappier' (quick transitions compared to the default when maneuvering on your device). The first two settings ('Transition Animation' and 'Window Animation') he recommended switching from '1' to '0' ... but the 3rd one (’Animator Animation') he suggested reducing only to '0.4' or '0.5'! Initially, he set the 3rd option to '0' also and everything SEEMED ok, but he soon discovered that it caused the same problem you are currently experiencing! When in 'Downloader' app and on his own website (or any that had their own built-in cursors), the cursor wouldn't function properly ... it would jump from one side of the window to the other (i.e. no real control)! So, going back and changing 'Animator Animation Scale' back to '1' or '0.5' FIXED THE PROBLEM! *These same controls are in the Google-TV settings (forget if they're in 'Developer Options' or elsewhere ... Troy knows where) of the ONN 4K box. If you watched some of Troy's other videos, he typically suggests changing these same three Animation options, (just as TDUK did in his older videos), so you might have adjusted them previously yourself? However, if you changed the 3rd one to '0' like the first two ... THAT WOULD CAUSE YOUR PROBLEM! Go and check these settings in your ONN box and if that 3rd one says '0', change it to '0.5' or '1'. I don't recall if the three options are named exactly the same (as I noted above) in the Google-TV settings, but you'll be able to tell ... and it's the bottom one of the three listed that you have to check! Hell, if you really want to see what effect they have, you can change them ALL back to their default '1' settings. Maybe you'll like it better if things aren't TOO fast (lol!), then go back and switch to the '0 - 0 - 0.5' setup! SNAPPY, SNAPPY, SNAPPY!! And if this isn't what's causing your issue, then maybe the virtual Mouse Toggle app settings has an effect these website built-in cursors, but I don't know how. Good luck! Sorry for the wordiness!

I can move the mouse toggle up and down also side to side but when I’m on scroll mode it doesn’t s scroll the pointer only goes up and down. I can see it says enabled scroll mode but nothing. But just when you first asked to search for downloader but it said that it is not available for your TV there is already a play store button to open it you don't need to press the microphone button to search for.

I just stumbled into this issue too... Luckily you don't need the remote to factory reset, you can hold the button on the GTV down - it'll start blinking after a few seconds, then shortly afterwards go white again and start resetting.
@troypoint I went ahead and tried it on an Onn device since they don't have a port for a USB for airmouse. The center "okay" button does not work in mouse mode, so this is effectively useless. All my permissions are set correctly as well, not sure what the problem could be but, if it just simply can't work on an off the shelf Onn, MATVT is pointless.

Sorry, I can't help with that one. Never happened to me. Maybe try rebooting your device. Also make sure that you already enabled dev options.

This tutorial is for those with true Android TV. Yours is stock Android, the same that is on phones and tablets.

Working fine on my end. This is usually due to either installing the wrong Mouse Toggle App or not turning on USB Debugging in Dev Options.
When I’m in downloader i can’t hover over anything, the cursor just goes to each of the four corners, can you help me.
You shouldn't need this mouse toggle when using Downloader. The browser in Downloader has it's own mouse toggle.

Complete nightmare. Mouse doesn't click and scroll no longer works. This app has basically destroyed my ability to use the device.
Lmao dont put your select button as the boss key as wont be able to select anything after (basicaly bricked my google tv) 😭🤣🤣

This is free though and on most 3rd party remotes gonna have problems with buttons not working.
