咁多收成，睇見都好開心，好羨慕，第時去到澳州我都打算在阿仔後園種D可以入饌嘅植物。
羗黃好處多到數唔曬，有抗發炎，抗菌及抗癌等功效。
送人之餘，自己保留多D，可以連皮切片，曬乾後礳成粉，成為羗黃粉就可以保全好耐喇。
用羗黃時加D黑糊椒粉，能增加吸收羗黃素。
佢係脂溶性，可以做黃金奶，羗黃飯，煮咖喱，我用攪拌機打蔬果汁，有加牛油果時我都會加羗黃粉及黑椒粉。

Clean thoroughly. Don't need to peel. slice and dry under sun. Then grind into powder and keep powder into jar. Have watched a youTube from an Indian girl who said that best absorb turmeric with fat soluble substance. She said that she saw her mum put into hot milk.

好勁呀！唔知點解我在悉尼種得很差，只有五六夠😢

黃薑、南薑、普通薑、白薑(薑花)在雪梨我都種到，南薑花最靚。前鄰居是馬華，愛種植，前後園滿種果樹，龍眼最多，從核種同 air laying 出來，因廿年前本地龍眼種培植未成熟，核大卻又賣得最貴。亦有大樹菠蘿、人心果等 exotic fruit。有次他給些未除殼 macadamia nut，用鎚除殼變冇得食，要用 G clamp 爆殼，食得辛苦。他搬走時屈我要了一龍眼樹，想要他的 pandan 卻不得，因他未能繁殖開來。新業主把所有樹斬殺改鋪草皮，可惜。

龍眼 tree can grow to a very large size. I was given fresh 龍眼 from Malaysian Chinese who grows them in their yard in Sydney.

@@Woodland26 Yes, indeed. I kept pruning the longan tree to about 2m height. It flowered for the past 2 years but hasn't set fruit. Is your Malaysian Chinese friend a driving instructor?

@@barwonet I don't think he is a driving instructor. When I was young, lived in HK, I went to someone's mansion in NT who had a tree 2 storeys high. We picked the branch off with an extension pole from second floor and pick up from the ground.

you could plant mango easily in Far North Queensland. Or lychee etc tropical fruits. I went to visit market in Cairns and they sell many varieties of mangoes that are not available in Sydney.

I have 2 mango trees, grew from seed, in my backyard. One of them is Kensington Pride. Every year each of them sets more than 50 fruit. But the fruit keep dropping at the size of apricot. Last year I got only one matured mango from each tree.

@@barwonet My Thailand cousins certainly had no trouble growing them in Thailand. It is very common, everybody have mango trees in their yard.
