Three years ago we immigrated to Australia using 188B VISA class DIY, without consulting a company. We live in Australia now and we see that many friends are considering emigrating recently. Our equivalent of Bunning's in Canada, same as in the USA, is Home Depot, or Lowe. I also hover around the plants area, to check whether there are discounted potted plants. Unfortunately, we only have May-September as our spring/summer growing season. Canada is in Zone 4. Maybe British Columbia, where Vancouver is located, gets the Pacific Ocean influence. Gardening is an extremely rewarding leisure activity, the plant rewards you for your TLC (tender loving care).

在香港學的，種咩用咩泥就要看植物的特性，可上網找到，它要保水，要梳水，要沙土，還是要壤土。另外留意前後院不同角落的微氣候有些微分別，陽光，雨水，風，泥土等等都有分別。
