Characters from the popular children's television program, created for Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park. The theme parks 2018 new rides include the Queen's Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit's Sailing Club.
Figures first carved from polystyrene, and moulded and cast from glass fibre. Painted and artworked with 1k car body paints, with internal metalwork for the arms and legs.
Many thanks to Adam from 'UK Theme Parks' and Shawn from 'Theme Parks Worldwide' for brilliant on site footage.

This was so fun to watch :) I love Peppa Pig and so do my kids :)
GREAT WORKS ON THE WAY đ
That made a great display. They look so cute.
Great video as always!
All of them standing together in grey primer looked a bit like the Chinese terracotta army to me. Flaky mixup. Couldnât help it... đ
Que trabajo tan maravilloso los admiro profundamente felicitaciones
Actualy, what don't you know to do ? Impressionnant !
Merci pour cette vidéo, mean, thank you for the vidéo, i realy like to see this kind of behind the scene.
Amazing work!
your video is awesome. I do sculpture. can you tell me how to make a good video like yours
We can't give away all our secrets ;) video creation is an art form in itself
Fantastic!
Thanks Shawn, and thanks for the great footage when you reviewed the park :) much appreciated. Great channel!
You guys are so amazing. This looks like it was a massive project and a logistic nightmare getting all of these characters put together and painted up. Brilliant camera work as well on this one. ;)
Extraordinary
Awesomeness!
great work sir
Super work Sir â€â€â€đ€
Wow! You always do great work. I'm here in the US and wonder if you know the best way to get big blocks of styrofoam? Can smaller sheets be glued together? Thanks.
Hi Mike, we buy the blocks in 8x4x2 foot billets from a packing company that only sell in very very large bulk orders (usually 5 to 20 blocks at a time). Thanks for the kind comment :)
Great
Excellent work guys and gals!! Always love seeing a fellow sculpture studio creating the behind the scenes magic!
What an awesome project and even more awesome execution! Your videos are always a treat.
Thank you for your videos. They are incredibly enjoyable to watch and very educational.
Sculpture Studios...making the world a happier more interesting place. great work guys. You must have enormous job satisfaction.
8:00 how you make sure the fiberglass covers all the way through the bottom of the trunk? It seems long.
The bulk of the fibreglass cast is created when the mould is in 2 halves. The 2 halves of the mould are then put together, and then only the seamline between the two cast pieces need to be joined. Fibreglass is used all the way along the seam lines. Yes it's quite a way down, but even if not every square inch of the seam line were to be covered, there will certainly be enough fibreglass across the seam line in total to make it structurally sound.
Great job! What kind of lacquer did you use? Was it a 2k one?
Edward Howat hey Edward. Yes it was a 2k lacquer :) which is fine to go on top of 1k (but not the other way round!)
The facettorilla at 3:30, a video about it, or was it just 3D-printed?
Everything you see in the video is made / modelled / carved / sculpted by hand
@@AdenHynesSculptureStudios Found the video, thanks!
More like thanks a lot!!
Another brilliant video I am glad that you incorporated some of the fun aspects back into this video but it is still missing the dancing.
A video that I think would be very interesting ( although a hassle to shoot with the Non-disclosure agreements ) would be a work flow video showing just how many projects you work on in a 6 month period- say July through December, to give us some sort of idea how long projects take and how many different projects you are working on at the same time.
Hi Armoury, thanks for the comment. Yes that would be a great video to make, a very very slow time lapse set up in the top corner of the workshop to record over 6 months. Some jobs literally take a weekend, other jobs, like this, take up to 6 months. Would be interesting to see, but as you said, complicated when it comes to NDA approvals. It's a shame!
Lindoooooo
Can I please ask why some of your wonderful older sculptures end up back in the studio?
Hi M L. If you're referring to the ones hanging on the wall, sometimes we create an extra duplicate to keep for ourselves. And if you're referring to other items on the ground floor that are currently being worked on as well, remember that this project took place over a course of 6 months. So for arguments sake, the Peppa Pig project spanned between October 2017 and April 2018. In that time, Gus the giant gorilla was made, we worked on numerous True Nopal Cactus sculptures, and many other projects during that time. So though you see them in this video, they were completed ages ago, whilst the Peppa Pig project was still happening. They've since had videos already created. Not only have we had to complete the Peppa Pig project, but we've had to take the time to create the video, and also wait for the official opening of the new park area and get approval from the client in order to publish the video. That's why the video is being released now, with all the other sculptures being finished months ago :)
Aden Hynes Sculpture Studios Wow, talk about multitasking! Something I can't do myself! I am really enjoying watching your videos, amazing work. I imagine you have to be an expert in maths to get the scales of these sculptures right?
Aden Hynes Sculpture Studios Thank you for the response :-) I thought maybe you rented them out if the client only wanted it for a one off event. Bang goes that theory/hope hehe.
M L something you wanna hire hmmm? ;)
Aden Hynes Sculpture Studios I wish I could! We do a huge haunted house every year but my partner is glaring at me and saying no more props, hehe.
Hi Aden, amazing job, totally hand -made.
đđđđđ ROCKY is trolling

We made a giant gorilla :) type in "gorilla by sculpture studios" and you'll find the project video on CZcams for it
@@AdenHynesSculptureStudios Sorry, I think I explained it wrong. What I would like to know is what product they are applying to the Styrofoam with the spatula. Thanks.
@@almirfilho7001 Oh I see! it's a soft water based plaster filler :)
