Amen! So many of these CZcams guys (France, Italy, USA etc) don't wear eye protection! 🥺 Actually disappoints me that they aren't caring for themselves especially or family enough to protect themselves. Maybe they don't think it's masculine to protect their body???
Riding a 4/wheeler, my 16 year old g-son poked a tree branch in his eye & has been going through surgeries therapy & adjustment for the past 1 & half years! He Says he Was wearing safety glasses but it was a skinny twig & got in between the frame or nose bridge. Yah. He might have to have a cornea transplant. Be Careful! Safety First! Always!

(Eventough I use a faceshield with earmuffs in my own workshop, I know there are situations where you can’t afford to stop work just cause you don’t have glasses there)
The Olive tree looks so nice in that re-purposed planter. Really nice. It is very graceful sitting there on the corner.

Ahh Ed do try to get some much needed rest. You have really banged out this property. I do not think people could ask more of you, you are working hard IT LOOKS BEAUTIFUL!! Good to see you taking care of your tools. Please take care of your eyes as well with those sparks flying. I have been down that road before with a friend he got a piece of metal from sparks right in the eye. He said he knew better (he was a construction worker) but thought he could bang out a job without them then bam. He didn't notice anything until his eye started to itch then off to the doctor. Your sight isn't worth risking it. The place looks wonderful, the videos are just getting better. I work in TV/Film so I pay attention to those things. Faster edits are always better between takes and timelapse. An example of this is Billy who does a great job of fast artistic edits from different angles he gets in and gets out not too much talking. Billy also does a splendid job of artistic establishing shots that aren't necessarily long but just long enough.B roll is important. All that said I think you are really doing a great job of working and editing, I always enjoy the fact your videos are a bit longer than most peoples videos. I like to have breakfast to them. Now I have to get in the garden GREAT JOB GUYS!! Ed, Ana take it easy ok? xox

Edd and Anna the progress being made is fantastic. Edd take care of your back. I would like to know if the olive trees can take cold weather. I have one on a pot and can move it inside for now, however it will be too large in time to do so! The children are growing so fast and are beautiful.

Thank you for introducing Luca. He is obviously a great help already with your very heavy workload. You are both doing so well keeping up with both the big and little Château’s and they both always look amazing. I just love the kitchen windows, they are my favourite part of the home and putting in those lovely double glazed windows will make them even so much more lovely. It was so nice to see Emma and Charles and I have watched them grow before our eyes on your videos and they are beautiful children. I will look forward to seeing Ed finished with one project and happily working just at the Bordeaux Château as he deserves a real break as I realise one job is enough for one man. He’s such a clever man! It was funny as I was the one watching your vlogs and now my husband says, “please don’t watch Ed and Anna’s vlog without me”, as you are his favourites.

I would make a silicon mold of the tops of those chairs and cast them in resin. Then paint them to match the wood. Quick way to get the chairs looking good and usable again.

Anna, Edd, are all of those small pavers meant to go down only for the walkway to the front door or on top of the newly poured driveway as well? Given your time constraints and back problems, perhaps hiring 3 or 4 people for a short amount of time to help knock off the remaining jobs should be considered as an option...even if it's for only 2-3 days.
France has very strict employment laws. It's probably more complicated than finding day laborers like we do here in Texas where everybody know someone who does day labor.

Bro... the last 3 inches of the blades is the only part thats considered the cutting section. The curved part you grinded a cutting edge onto is the "lift"

Anna and Ed, are those your vineyards on the hill in the background?
This is an old video so maybe things are different now. But with the mower, train your Assistant to check the blades and any oil fittings tires and fluids before they start mowing and to not park it until the blade area is power washed. That’s all part of mowing.
You could make new tops for the chairs that have the missing parts or cut off the other chairs to make them all look the same.

The antique chairs are beautiful. Too bad the 2 are broken; however, I have seen other DIYers repair moldings. You make a mold of the good part (top decorative part of the chair), let it cure completely , then paint or stain depending on what the rest of the piece is. Michael Petherick may have done this before, Angelina from Chateau Life did, and I think Phillip from Chateau Diaries did as well. Or take off any decorative pieces that are broken from the 2 chairs, sand, and restain. This way there are 2 with the decorative detail and 2 without. Just a thought. 🙏
