Honestly Ellen don't worry about posting negative reviews. None of us are going to like every book that we read and that's okay. I genuinely find your reviews (negative or positive) very helpful because you seem to catch on to things or mention things that maybe other booktubers messed. I for one love your reviews whether they're positive or negative. You're just so entertaining to watch and I love your videos!🥰

I love your videos so much!! I’m currently reading kingdom of ash and sobbing!! I’m a little scared going into acotar that it’s going to be too spicy and not much fantasy, how much fantasy would you say there is compared to throne of glass??
i think it’s a similar level of fantasy to the throne of glass series, maybe ever so slightly less!! there’s defo spice in ACOTAR but i don’t think it’s toooooo much, i would say a court of silver flames is where it stays to get properly spicy. i really hope you end up loving it!!!

i have the kindle paperwhite (i believe it’s the version just before the newest one, i got it about a year ago) and i love it!! hasn’t been laggy at all for me so far luckily😊

As someone who suffers from health anxiety as well, I literally can't read books with any health topic in it. That's the reason I google the trigger warnings for every book I want to read before starting them haha. Can't risk accidentially reading about stuff I don't want to🙈
i feel like i need to get into the habit of checking for health related trigger warnings cos it really ruins my reading experience when it pops up out of nowhere🙃 i’m glad im not alone with that!!
@@bookswithellen I also never used to check the health trigger warnings, until I read a book which massively triggered me so that’s when I decided it’s probably smart to check them! I’m also so glad to know that there are more people out there who also struggle with health anxiety and in books and stuff bc honestly it sometimes can feel like such a lonely part of anxiety because not many people have it❤️
honestly if people are looking for a book that has those tropes id read Terms and Conditions by Lauren Asher, sounds like its the same tropes but its less toxic, plus theres no medical things involved!

don't worry about it ellen i hated the book too i only finished it cause i was reading it with a friend and we both hated it. and your right the man wasn't cute grumpy he was just mean. this book should have stayed in the drafts.
