Stop stressing, eat lots of good foods (dont be scared of carbs), workout by lifiting heavy, switch up workouts often, :) got it!

He said 5 years uni but Dr Huberman reckons isolating the muscle first is more beneficial and then following up with compound lifts.
I train 4 times a day, have one day off, eat what I like no protein or supplements. Iâm not massive but Iâm super strong and fit

Clearly knowledgeable, knows his own body, knows how to grow muscle, knows what works, eats well and trains properly......but also clearly on steroids.

This is really great info I'm a bigger guy 5'11" 277lb and I was into lifting for a while and got into competitive swim workouts and it worked wonders for injury prevention in my opinion. however i was in a 50/25/25 split and only averaging about 2200 cal a day with a 700-800 cal deficit. I now am getting back to a similar program but its one day swim the next run then consuming an average of 3500 cal with a 998 cal deficit whilst doing calisthenics and some kettlebell work obviously my goal being to drop fat and tone up while increasing that cardio tank. My macros are something im just kind of lost on tbh. that deficit might be a little high but if I find myself dropping more than 2.5 lbs a week ill decrease that deficit. idk im kind of just thinking out loud at this point
