The fact she has nodules and still performs and puts out music for her fans when she could have retired ages ago is admirable. This woman never stops and we love that about her. A true legend ❤

One of the reasons so many singers struggle with this song is the fact that there are so many lyrics with minimal breath space

I love Mariah!! The amount of pressure on her as a singer is immense and on top of that she has nodules!
You should watch some of her other performances! Trust me the lambs love when someone as analytical and appreciative as yourself reacts to Mariah Carey videos!
Maybe you can start with her performance of Vision of Love at SNL. This is from her debut era, debut single!
She is the perfect singer I ever heard as long as hear more singers.

Wow the way you sang “yoo00oo” at 7:00 I could listen to that all day😮
I so agree i first started singing her song melt away in 2017. It was terrible for a while til around 2019 I practiced singing it multiple times a day and by 2022 i was able to be so fluent in the different textures registers and was able to learn how to transition clean from low register to belt to headvoice then to whistle. Took me 6 years 💀💀💀
