The people complaining about the price need a reality check about how expensive everything is in Vegas these days.
Yay, I suggested the Peppermill, so glad you went. It is my fave breakfast place. The Omelettes there are amazing, they put so many eggs in, it comes out as a dome shape! Love the retro vibe in there. Cheers

I travel the world for a living and have been to a ton of different places. The Mazerati Omelette is the best breakfast item I’ve ever had

Watching this as you mentioned you've been here in your recent video. Love the place. Had my wedding breakfast in here. They were a pleasure to deal with and talk to and looked after us so, so well.
Shame to see them all in masks, but I suppose that was the craziness of the time.
It was expensive in 2015 too, but for the amount of food you got, well worth it! Also oe of the best Long Islands I've had in a while. We first went for breakfast too. Remember ordering the biscuits and gravy, and wanting the fruit platter on the side. Waitress said no, you'll never manage to eat it and she made me a side plate of fruit. Thought she was being a little rude as I can pack my food in. Then I saw a fruit platter. It was the size of my dinner table! Glad I had the side plate, which was as big as a dinner plate.
Haven't been to Vegas since. Really miss it.
the owners are laughing when people tip their staff and the fact they expect it, wouldnt bother with the usa at all

Great looking breakfasts chaps however they were both missing the most important thing, nope for once not black pudding but plenty of good old HP Sauce. 👍

Hi Lee and Martin! At last you managed to do a bit of an introduction without an interruption outside. This has to be one of the better ones and breakfasts to order over there since long beach. Food looked fabulous. Enjoy your time away boys
Love to go back to Vegas but those prices for food is absolutely insane!! I paid 1/3 to 1/5 that when I went the last time and I realize it was a few years ago, but it is just too much now. Even with the better exchange rate here in the UK compared to the Canadian dollar I used back then. I wouldn't be able to do any drinking or gambling.

I guess the fact you had to wait was the key to the quality, the breakfast place in New York where you once had to queue but you went straight in and wasn’t good is an example... looked decent, cut out the bloody Mary’s 😂 and the price isn’t too bad. Liked the vlog.. hope you share thoughts on the Bellagio soon.

Both them breakfasts look fantastic Solid 9.5 for Macs I want that right now. 8.5 for Martins purely as I have zero knowledge of what that "Gravy" tastes like. I cant even think what it might be similar too and it never looks exactly gorgeous. I do think I would like it though oddly enough.
Gotta do the CFS at Ellis Island, half the price and far superior product. Hand Made Daily, not pre fabbed frozen patties. DELICIOUS!
Ellis Island is great, go there every time I'm in Vegas but it's smaller portions, a bit lower quality and has nothing of the ambience of Peppermill.
@@ruk2023-- I disagree about the portion size, portions are quite large at EI, and as for quality I find them better than Peppermill.

£100+ For sodding breakfast!!! Fuggin' 'ell lads!!! Have you considered breakfast at the Savoy, then taking a flight to Oslo and going hard at it in the most expensive bar in town? It's gotta be cheaper than these meals FFS! No spanking here lads but you must've chewed on a bite stick when they inserted that bill?

I agree with the comments about prices. Seriously seriously overpriced. Nasty looking sausages, ordinary eggs and greasy bacon. Martin’s gravy is typical - no doubt highly salted - and the steak is a glorified burger. You have really been sucked into Vegas (and American) glitz and the resulting overpricing. Pleased you remembered to quote real prices, including tips and tax! My wife and I - remember, we live in Nevada and know Vegas really well - are shocked at what you’re paying and what you’re getting. The Strip money pit has sucked you in.

Generally I share the breakfast when visiting the Peppermill. Keeps the cost down and the portions are huge anyway.
A very busy place, long wait to get in and for food. Very expensive too. The breakfast looked good, except for that white gravy what do they put in that? But to be fair the food looked high quality and service good. Overall for food/service/price, 8/10.
The white country gravy is better than any brown gravy I have ever tasted, It's used on fried chicken also. The gravy is made with butter. flour milk and lots of pepper..the key is the pepper...it give it a smokey rich taste that is very addictive. It makes you want to just drink some out of a glass it's so good. lol
10/10 From me, absolutley freezing here, snow on the ground in Pudsey for 3 days, lockdown on its way for Xmas so it seems, i,d stay put in the U.S Lee if i were you, and keep these awesome vlogs coming 🤩👋👋👋

always have breakfast here when in vegas twice a year never get tired of it, portions are big, but you can skip lunch.

Looks superb for once on this trip. Hooray!!! But I can’t believe how the prices have skyrocketed in the five years since I last visited.
My husband and i to go Vegas 2-3 times per year from California. There are two places we try to go to everytime Peppermill and Tacos El Gordo which is walking distance from the Peppermill. We love breakfast from the Peppermill also and tacos from El Gordo. 😊

When you see how busy it was, and having to wait 40 minutes for a table, your pretty sure it's going to be good. Have to say on looks it didn't look amazing maybe a 7 but can obviously see how much you enjoyed it it was right up there. Another good vlog Lee.
Reccomend on mild green tabasco on the eggs, looked lovely even the ponytail looked happy 😊
My favourite place to eat in when I'm in Vegas. The prices appear to have gone up considerably since I was last there but I've never been disappointed with the food or service.

Your vlogs are top class .. I'd give each breakfast a solid 9 .5 thought your pancake looked a little on the anaemic side but everything else looked lush ..

Just a query about the “hash browns”. That looks more like a German rösti. In the UK and Oz, hash browns have a defined in shape as ovals or triangles. Is that how they are presented all over the US, as an undefined heap. Looks good anyway.
Yeah, that's a typical US hash brown. It's grated potato put on a griddle and flattened out. I don't think I have ever had it any different in the US.

Best Place to Eat Cheap and Yummy Food: Ellis Island hotel casino which is one block from the Strip.
For example, steak, eggs and baked potato for $15!!! 😊 😊 👍

I think the Peppermill like a lot of places you've shown us on this trip are largely famous due to past reputation. In reality and if you take away the rose tinted specs, the breakfast (to me) didn't look great. Yours looked very dry, Martins steak looked swamped in anaemic looking sauce. Glad you enjoyed it though, really enjoying your vlogs!

Being from the US those were breakfast sausages, what you have in UK look like our Italian sausages. What would a server say if I wanted my eggs with yokes broken and cooked through nooo runny yoke. I'm glad you finally had a meal you both really enjoyed in spite of the wait. Martin will have to return for their corned beef hash. Really enjoyed this vlog cause you two were enjoying it so much.
So with tip you were paying £17 each for a bloody Mary? Has the US gone insane or are you picking the highest priced places you can find? That's getting on for the price you might pay in a 5* London hotel.
Exactly my thoughts. NY was always expensive but LV food and drink was dirt cheap so they could get bums in casinos. $136 for drinks and breakfast, no thanks!

Comfortably the best breakfast I have seen so far, think the value is excellent as well which has not always been the case whilst you have been in America Lee. 9.7 for both, looked like good North American produce used there & good value for money. 👍

Chicken (southern) fried steak breakfast in Texas makes that one look pretty tame. It's a staple breakfast item in Texas restaurants. Although we never call it southern fried steak. It's only restaurants not in the south that call it that. Its called chicken fried steak here. All in all looks like a great meal though. I'd eat there in Vegas.
This one looked the best of the lot, the eggs looked superb. That said, I bet you can’t wait to get home to a proper full English 😂 Great video as always hope you’ve had a good one 👍🏻

Breakfast at the Peppermill is served 24 hrs. I always go for breakfast about 11am when there isn't much of a queue.
If you have to wait forty five minutes for a table you know the place is going to be popular...and as for the breakfast?...that looked rather good...but on this occasion Martin picked the better dish.That southern fried steak looked amazing.
I give the breakfast 8 out of 10(Martin's breakfast gets a 10)
Was last in The Peppermill in 2010. Had a hot Pastrami sandwich and side of onion rings. Was amazing food.
Always thought America was cheaper than the UK but omg the prices over there absolutely diabolical got to be a rich man to do what you do martin great video as always
The USA is a continent… do not equate outrageous Vegas prices with most of the rest of the country. In the Boston area you can get one hell of a diner breakfast for $15 and this is a relatively expensive part of the States!
Jeez that place is so busy. Tells you it must be pretty good. Vegas wasn’t this expensive when I was there 5 years ago, prices seem to have rocketed.
Bet nearly everyone in that restaurant is charging their company’s credit cards. Otherwise, I doubt it would be anything like as busy.
Oh my that breakfast looked delicious I never got chance to go here but I wish I’d made more of an effort to go. But there’s always next time.

Just catching up with this video, WOW How much for a breakfast? I don`t care how good they are, That is scandalously pricey. I have to be honest and I think you already know my money situation, Bravo for doing these videos, I love them but it breaks my heart just looking at some of the prices, If My Wife and I ever get to go out for a meal it is a breakfast and pay no more than £12 and on our budget that is a real stretch at this moment. The Breakfast here at The Peppermill Diner... Did look really good guys!... And the price wasn't too bad either. Well not once you removed the... "Four Double Bloody Mary's" anyway... Most viewers watching, wouldn't be having alcoholic drinks for Breakfast... Most normal people would be drinking a regular Coffee or Tea... So the $76.00... for alcoholic drinks at Breakfast, isn't on everyone's list of menu items they're desperately looking for... The same goes for the Pancakes, once I've had a good Breakfast... Pancakes don't really float my boat, as an after Breakfast accompaniment... So most people could reduce this bill by at least $80.00... So i'll score The Peppermill Diner Breakfast... a solid 9/10... Simply for the fact that there's a rather long 40 minute wait for Breakfast here... But over all, it deserves a high score... Thanks for the review Martin & Lee... Cheers guys. 🍺🍺
