Wow a site that keeps on giving over the years and still has a part you haven't detected yet. Simply Amazing. Love you all and all the hard work you do. Loved the video.
That 30 second curse cracks me up because it is so true. Our buds are like, how dare you find something in the first 30 secs. You just cursed us for the rest of the hunt. LOL. LMAO
Many of the people I take hiking don't realize that 80% of the land south of the White Mountains was open farms in the late 1700's and early to mid 1800's The Civil war changed the North East. When the guys from New England took a look at the wide open spaces of the mid west they packed up and went west. For those that stayed behind it became a struggle to keep the farms up and running. That was the fate of many of the homes on the cellar holes you're searching. I'd love to go out with you guys. I have a metal detector.
What wonderful finds, and you all found at least one special relic, Nate found two, the buckle and a complete escutcheon plate which is a beauty.I remember Dames rosette and the antler that Waynos found and kindly gave to Nate. I can't remember anymore sorry gentlemen, but its 11.30 pm and I am very tired. I know there were several buttons found and a lot of shotgun Willie's that's without all the sheet metal. Still after several recaps this site is still giving up its relics. It was lovely to see you all, good luck and happy hunting my friends God bless you all and NinJen love and hugs Mary-Ellen LFOD UK
Hey Charley it's funny u mention to Dame about the similar thing u found when he found the parisol topper . The object you found is a parisol handle ! Awsome digs as always guys . Can't wait for the next!
Been a while since I've seen an episode but still miss all the great finds and still waiting for someone to go with detecting with my 2 machines... One being a new nox 600... Way to go guys!!!!
Great video and what a great assortment of finds! Nice to see the band of brothers all back together again! Those Teknetic machines are doing well for you!
The “L” shaped iron object that Waynos found… is a stirrup strap bracket from an 18th century saddle. Its how the adjustable strap was attached. Would hace been one on each side. Cool find. The sqare frame “buckle” or ring (and the previously found saddle plate) were probably from the same saddle
Looked like a pretty solid hunt, sirs. Hope it was as fun for you guys as it was to watch. Please, please edit the intro to show Dame hacking at a root. It seems like he always hits them, unless he's getting loads of SGWs (like today). Good to see him hit some nice stuff later on! Waynos cracked me up. I wouldn't want to win that contest, either. Some very nice pulls overall, against the background of a load of spent shells. Nice work! Cheers for posting! LFOD
Even a 100$ amazon detector can find targets, its all location, sure a good machine is good to go deep at hunted out sites but if you can land a permission or find a public spot that hasnt been hunted much (if at all), a 100$ detector WILL find good things! Spend as much time researching (if not more) than you do detecting

Great Dame on the "it's shouldery" too damn funny.........good find......wax those DM's. oh, and also what is the difference between the two machines? I see you're on the netics in this.
I have a vision of a housewife looking at her family’s clothes and shaking her head over the number of lost buttons. No wonder every grandmother and most of the mother’s i have h own in the last 75 years all had big button boxes!
Harmonica reeds seem common as do buttons. Where do the harmonicas come from you find there. It’s hard to believe they were all imported from Europe. Who made all those tombac buttons? Surely there must have been silver smiths relatively locally that made them, or were there?
But antler being cute on does not mean at the animal kill. Squirrels and porcupines chew on them. That is actually shutting. If it would have been an animal kill there would have been skull still attached to it

All these years of watching and have never detected once. All started with the Hoovers. Maybe one day ill be able to afford a good detector.
I suggest the Fisher F11 for a non-waterproof budget machine. Also check your local Goodwill for a Bounty Hunter.

Also a month ago a Bounty Hunter Mach 1 was $70 on Amazon, but it jumped up in price with the springtime. 🤯
Dude a simplex is like 250 and blows those fishers and bounty hunters away!!

Squirrels and mice will gnaw on antlers to get calcium

Great episode Charlie! It was nice to see you guys out detecting together!
Well done brother 😁
The antler that has been knawed on don't mean that it's from an animal kill...squirrels love the calcium
Watch out for them widow maker’s!
Charlie that was a corny joke
About time lol 😳😂👍
Beardo = Crotobell ! PLZ! Are suspention boxes still around? WE MISS THE SHACK ! Be Nice!

Hey beardo
Time to dig a ditch to drain that swampy area. Wonder if that was the spring they used until they left.
Teknetics are good machines at least it’s affordable 800.00 is my top that I will pay
Mice and other do that to shed antlers.
Do you guys clean iron relics you find with electrolysis, I enjoy the videos, but am unable to go anymore. Thanks for the context

at 04:50 that wasnt a Robin Hood Arms Co shotshell?
Beardo!
My theory is, that there were lots of really bad harmonica players...resulting in lots of harmonicas stomped into the dirt.
Are you running old videos not using the Fisher metal detector
You've all got shovels, can't you drain the swampy ateas?
But antler being cute on does not mean at the animal kill. Squirrels and porcupines chew on them. That is actually shutting. If it would have been an animal kill there would have been skull still attached to it

Mice and other rodents like to chew on fallen antlers.
