The Steam Power Systems Mod! - Space Engineers

This is the Steam Power Systems for Space Engineers! A cool mod that allows you to generate power for you base or large block ship using steam! I go over the blocks added with this mod like the steam turbines (which have animated parts!), special solar panels and rotors for use with the solar aliment script, nuclear power plants and geothermal modular system! Then show a small example setup of how to put it all together!

500 MW takes an absolutely massive turbine. The huge turbine where I work only tops out at 160 MW. This mod is rather appropriate, though. Modern power plants, even nuclear plants, work by heating water to drive steam turbines.

BSE - Starship Nova Universal Fighter ( Atmo + Ion + Reactor ) Looks like a real plane can escape atmo of planets.
im pretty sure you could say it preforms to a decent level on every location space and planets borderline passable.

I'd like to put forward the CV-01 Civilian transport
Looks a bit like a flying schoolbus; I'll accept that.... but it does have a nifty little landing gear setup, & will do it's job of transporting around multiple engineers & cargo both in space and in atmosphere.

How did you build the geothermal well down under the ground?

He did it with F10 and click creative mode and you can build in 3rd person. Also through voxel.

I am a bit late but for the life of me I cannot get this mod to work.
heat accumulates in the well tip and and the well head as well, but the turbine refuses to produce any energy. I got plenty of power to "jumpstrt" the process... yet -> no dice.
can anyone give me a hint as to why that is ?

Same problem. The Steam tank is 100% Full 5000/5000L and connected to the Steam turbine, but it doesn't produces any energy :(

Did anyone do the calculations if this mod produces more or less MW per amount of Uranium than the straight vanilla reactors?

Clockwork created a sperate mod just with the steam power minus coal.
And IO has this mod integrated by default.
