  • Maiton island is an understated paradise. A beautiful tropical island just off the Southeast coast of Phuket
It’s a fantastic day out and only 30 minutes from the 5 Star Marine Phuket pier.
The island is still relatively untouched by tourism, the white sandy beaches are soft and pristine but the best things to do at Maiton Island all happen in the clear tropical waters around the island.
Is seeing dolphins in Phuket on your bucket list? Then Maiton Island is for you.
The best time to see the dolphins is first thing in the morning or around the early evening.
Maiton Island is a fantastic destination for a 5-Star Marine Phuket private tour, as it has so much to offer.
You will definitely have a 5 Star Experience when you book a 5-Star Marine Phuket private tour to Maiton Island.

Yes, it is/was a lovely spot. Spent around a month there (waiting for a flight back home) in January 1981after a not so lovely girl stole all my money from the 30 baht a night bamboo bungalow we were staying in at Nai Harn (a one off in 25 years living in Thailand). I had a good Thai friend, who came from what was then the small, ramshackle fishing village at Chalong, took me out there on his boat, a 'long tail' (หางยาว). Lived the whole time on all sorts of fresh fish (with พริกนำ้ปลา of course to add a little spiciness), omelettes, rice, water, and countless bongs. Great time swimming and vegging, those were the days! No speedboats, mobile phones, tourists and all the rest of that shit.

Which of your tours do you guys recommend for Early April?

April is a good time on the sea, generally speaking. So any tour would work. The best way to work out what we would recommend is to find out a little about what kind of experience you are looking for. How old are the passengers? Any must see destinations? Snorkeling?
