She, like the rest of us, was so in awe of Luther, and because she was invited from the audience to come up and sing with him, she wasn't exactly comfortable not knowing where he was taking the song. He seemed more to have been charming her and she enjoyed every minute. At one time she just stopped and said "I love it" with such admiration in her eyes. But the real deal was how much he admired her. He was indeed thrilled to have had this moment with her.
The veil draped over the black magic when these two died. They were so talented and so real. There will not be another like them. I am so happy I lived through this era and enjoyed this great music.
