Hi Nathan, this was all live. All the high notes were done by Jin and Jimin, ad libs by Jimin backed by Jin. The same with Jungkook and Taehyung. I don't know if you are aware but between today and tomorrow the last 4 members of Bts will be in the military. This song is very fitting for this occasion! Yup - Jin and Jimishi doing the highs and Tae and JK did the low end. I understand there can be post production changes on videos like panning, and mics have autotune and effects that sound engineers can add into live performances! Some Army seem to get upset thinking that’s saying something bad when it’s just normal… every artist uses it! But we see them live singing without microphones in behind the scenes, shows, etc., and we all know they’re completely capable of hitting the notes, so I wish some Army wouldn’t take it as a negative! Also reactors should just point out the benefits it may add to the performance and not bring it up too much… IMO!

I’ve had the wonderful privilege to have seen the boys live 3 times and the vocals are all REAL!
Sometimes, I want to yell at my screen and be like it's jimin AND Jin! Jimin adlibs, Jin continuing the high notes!
I think they're actually genuinely live in this one, it's just that Jimin's not the only one who can sing the high harmonies. Jin is up there for half of this song. There could be a track for support but if you watch closely the right number of people's mouths are moving 😂
It's harder to tell them apart on this one because they're trying to blend rather than trying to stand out.

When this video first came out....Sting saw this cover and gave a thumbs up to BTS. He even posted and promoted the cover in his personal twitter account tagging BigHit and BTS.

7:39 Jin was also singing up to F5 and most high notes throughout the song. Maybe he was so on point and smooth that his vocals blended with the music perfectly which seemed like a backing track was being played instead!

I've been noticing that in all the reactions he ignores the fact that Jin does high notes too, and very well at that. Him having a preference for Jimin, that's fine, but ignoring Jin's talent saddens me.
Every time there's a high note they show jimin in the videos that's why they didn't recognize jin. But it's okay the army's and seokjinnies know all.
He misses or misidentifies Jin's high notes and adlibs so consistently that I am thinking it's for engagement. And I'm no solo stan.

He said those were Tae 🤦♀️ And in Epiphany, he is thinking that the backtracks were Jimin when this is Jin's solo song. So how is that even funny. That is disrespect to Jin. You know, people are saying this because this is not the first time. This kind of reactions are annoying if credit is not given to the right member, whoever it may be. And he has been called out even in his prior reactions but he still does it.

LOVE this video, glad you watched their performance! I only knew the Sting original, so it was cool to discover the remake through BTS :) They changed the lyrics to be about the pandemic instead of being about grief. (Like when RM said “give anything to see half your face” - because of everyone wearing masks.)
And Jimin and Jin were both singing the higher octave while V and Jk were taking the lower octave! They may still have had a backing track, I don’t know, but Jin was doing a lot up there with the melody when Jimin was doing his ad libs :)

just like in his Fix You cover reaction. He said the Jin high note in the triple blend and the beautiful belt at the end were Tae. there's no two Tae's as well. I wonder if he knows there's a Jin. Though in his Dynamite Tiny Desk reaction, he praised Jin's part. But he was new then so it is quite understandable no mention of Jin's name. But in his later reactions to Fix You, Epiphany and this, still no props to Jin?

Taehyung and Jungkook with their versatile vocals, Jin and Jimin hitting those crazy high notes in the chorus and the rap-line killing it as usual ❤️. It was Jin doing the high notes at the chorus at 6:53 while Jimin was doing the ad-libs. You should know that it’s not only Jimin that hits crazy high notes in the group, Jin hits higher notes in their songs.
Yes, I wanna say that too.. When jimin doing harmonizing (high note) with V, Jungkook or Jin doing the ad-libs (high note). even V doing ad-libs with high note too at 4.30 & 4.35. At 7.41 it was Jimin & Jin.
Jin does a lot of the hidden stuff .. but wow some of those notes are high! They have a similar range but Jin can go lower with more ease. He reaches the high ones with equal ease. But yeah Jimin's tone is beautiful and unique. Check out Crystal Snow live with a focus on Jin's triple high you'll see... or Your Eyes Tell live. Both songs highlight the best of both of them I think (well all the vocal line tbh)I especially like Your Eyes Tell.

This was live. Jimin was doing the adlibs and Jin was singing the high notes. Actually Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook can all sing really high notes. Especially Jimin and Jin. In a lot of their songs, Jin does a lot of the high notes. 😊

Both Jimin AND Jin are hitting those very high notes. They do have a very light background track I think but the one you heard when Jimin was doing adlibs was Jin singing the melody. Jin would surprise you really :)

All vocalist can to do high notes, but in different ways of course. You love Jimin voice and it's normal. We love it too. He is amazing. Personally I feel more connected with Tae voice. He gives me so much calm. But All if them are amazing. Rap line is amazing too❤.
I think Jin hits the high notes when Jimin is busy. lol. I don't know for sure. But, Jin can hit some seriously high notes and I have heard him do that as back up before. And it surprised me.

sorry but still disappointed with him. seems he is underestimating Jin. he was like that when he reacted to Fix You when he said Tae was singing the beautiful parts of Jin. then in his Epiphany reaction, he was more on asking if Jimin was doing the backtrack when it was a Jin solo song so everything was Jin. I saw him praise Jin's part in the Dynamite tiny desk but seems was new and didn't know their names yet. Don't know if he even knows Jin or his capabilities.

I love Jimin, and you obviously love him too. But it breaks my heart that you tend to overlook the other members esp. Jin. :( Jimin can very much hit the high notes… and Jin can too. Just highlighting Jin because you overlooked him here and in the Fix You cover too. Both covers trended because Jimin and Jin did so well with their vocals. I love all 7 of them it’s just that in your case, it seems that high notes are equal to Jimin alone. :(

Hi Nate, I am always so happy for the reactions and for reading and taking in consideration our suggestions. There are so many songs that are interesting that are super famous but as well some others like "Am I wrong" or "Louder than bombs", "Butterfly", "Bullet proof eternal", "1,2,3..". I love BTS more live because their voices are so much better than the clean perfect version of the studios.

Suga wrote the so meaningful & inspirational lyrics as well as produced the song with some help from in-house bighit producer Slow Rabbit. The rap, the vocals, the dancing, as well as equally awesome ever so sensual at times, choreography that goes well with the song plus the so heartfelt emotional delivery that BTS always do during performances of their songs, make this particular performance, such a must see. Also hearing that hard hitting live rock band they had with them while in tour during thier BTS HYYH concerts!❤️🔥👍😍🔥🔥

JImin's your bias and you give him credit for all the high notes, and he can sure hit them, but so can the others. They all have such a wide vocal range.

I don't think you are salty. I have the same observation. High notes also done by Jin which I think he does not know or really try to know. One good example is his previous Fix You cover. He said the high notes of Jin in the triple blend was V. And he did it again when Jin did the beautiful belt at the end. He said it was V when the next part was V. I saw several people correct him. Even in Jin Epiphany reaction, he was even thinking that the backtracks were done by Jimin when it is aJin solo song. He has to give credit where credit is due.

Jin is the one who can hit highest notes followed by Jimin very close. I'm pretty sure he is still of the opinion that only one singer in a band would be good n the rest are there just to fill in.
@@WhatDoISay7 if he has a bias, that's fine since it's his prerogative. but it doesn't mean not giving credit to other members when it is due them. he has been making a number of BTS reactions and still making mistakes. I don't know if he is even serious with BTS and all the boys. there are some reactors who made mistakes when they started and acknowldeged them. they also tried to really know the boys and their vocals. I don't think the same is true with him.

Hi, Nathan. I haven't commented before, but I have watched and liked all your reactions to BTS. I find it very interesting getting your opinions as a producer, and I really liked your cover of Fake Love. After watching this reaction though, I got really sad, because it's clear that you don't know and acknowledge all the vocalists voices. I love Jimin, he has a very soothing and sweet voice, but you should definetely put more effort in getting to know the other ones voices as well, becsuse they all have great voices and a wide range. As many people has stated, Jin has a very high register, not only Jimin. When I first started to listen to BTS many years ago, I didn't notice Jin in the first few songs. But as time went by, Jin has become my favourite singer in this world. His voice is so emotional and it goes straight to my heart. When he doesn't get credit when credit's due, it feels so unfair. Please, do better, get to know their voices and ranges. Tae also has the most beautiful falsetto, and Jungkook is possibly the best singer in the world ever. I hope to see more reactions, where you actually listen to every members voice. I could definetely recommend Your Eyes Tell live, where each member shine. My absolute favourites are: Lights, Heartbeat, Jamais vu, Sea, Louder than bombs, Magic shop, Sweet Night, and Best of me (dance practice), So what, Anpanman, Baepsae, Mic Drop. Can't wait to see your reactions coming up. If you want to see other groups, I can recommend Enhypen; Fever, Pass the mic, Sweet venom, Given Taken, 10 months.
