Gerald and Flex don’t understand the intangibles of what a point guard does , the fact that you guys watch this mess all season, we told you ten games in the offense is stalling out and that’s the direct effect of not having a point how hard is that to understand.
Or it could be because no one is good at attacking the basket. Just a bunch of players wanting to take midrange jumpers.

cp3 played really slow though, the pace was slow before, but he is a god PG, and Booker and Beal aren't natural pgs

The key for these next two years is player development, the pick we have this year needs to be a hit , and we may need to hit again in the draft in the second trading back in like little or someone
Beal had negative value before we traded for him. Everyone knew he had the worst contract in basketball. Don't tell me that deal was an obvious improvement. At least not longterm.

I agree you need a point guard, but they’re right, you can’t add a pg to the big 3, we’d be too small. Meaning you’d have to have beal come off the bench, which seems ridiculous considering how much he makes, but I’d honestly be down to try it for the sake of taking better care of the ball on offense
Barkley said it months ago... Beal should have lead the 2nd unit... that would have given him room to cook... we may be forced to go that route next year... then add a starting and 2nd string PG to each unit.
that's regular season though, in PO there is no second unit, they will still be the worst trio in PO

I hope JJ and Ishbea are sitting down with the star players individually to discuss what went wrong and how to move forward. The 3 guard starting line up that we had all season can’t continue meaning either Beal or Allen needs to come off the bench. They need to be starting a small forward in that spot instead of a guard
He has to be. You can't fire 3 superstars. And you can't make them have chemistry, and owners who may be interested in Vogel will ignore that problem.
We should get either Dantoni or Phil Jackson
Regarding the draft, i'll make it easy for us. Pointguards- tyler kolek or devin carter. Bigs- kel'el ware or hanson yang. If you have never seen yang, the center from china you should check him out now.
When we signed beal. I knew it was over went to 1 suns game this year. And mabye watched a few on t.v. I knew this was how it was gonna go down this season. Even surprised they made the playoffs without playing in the play in tourny.

Would love to have edey but he's a likely top 15 pick closing in on the lottery. Kel'el ware is a possibility as he's projected to be in the late twenties. Power forwards like izan ilmansa, ulrich comche and adem bona all are tough aggressive true bigs that can rebound and defend. My darkhorse for most skilled center in the draft is hanson yang of china. Pretty much nobody knows who this kid is but in time they will. Pointguards like kolek
with hiss passing and shooting and devin carter with his size toughness and defense would be good for the future of this team.
My question is if Vogel is out, and I fully expect and hope so, who’s available who’d be a theoretical improvement???

Pay Dantoni whatever to come back, he brings back Nash as the assistant, hire Amare to come coach bigs, this is too easy and very doable.
I know we hate the Mavs but let’s hope they bounce the Clippers because if they go out in the first round again, the Suns will have a legitimate shot at Ty Lue. His contract is up after this season and he will want outta there.

The Clippers coach is ideal but if you can’t get him Ishbea may need to take his chances with a knowledgeable assistant coach. Obviously championship experience alone doesn’t mean that you are a good coach. They should not bring in a defensive minded HC without giving him defensive pieces

Smart GMs have been planning for the second apron for more than a year now. The Suns got excited by a new owner who instead of doing that offered expending and traded like a fan. That is your real culprit. I can understand Suns fans were traumatized by the lack of aggressive. But being aggressive doesn't mean you have to stop being smart.
The problem was as much in the rotations and chemistry that failed to develop

We do need a pg. The "star" players we have are too similiar and have way too many TOs. But at the same time we also need dogs w vocal leadership who impose their will and crash boards. Unfortunately that wont happen with all the $ tied up on 3 players. Also beal, nurk, oneal hit layup lines all summer cus i never seen so many blown layups. Devin needs to work on catching and shooting, especially from 3. That pump fake bs is played out

We need a point guard. Beal can come off the bench. We need point guard to start and power forward so Durant can play small forward. Need a 6’9 or taller power forward. Also maybe draft edey to back up nurkic and for insurance if nurkic gets injured
If DA was Bam Adebayo, this would be a true superteam. We also wouldn't have traded him for spare parts. He wasn't, he didn't want to be, he's not. He was for a month and a half in 2021 and then he thought he was KG. Chris Paul is washed. If you don't make changes, changes get made for you. To quote the great Bryan Colangelo "find a new slant"
The only real scenario that could happen from now on for the suns is if the big 3 are a real big 3 in the regular season and playoffs. When did the big 3 had a great game in the regular season or playoffs were each of the big 3 scored 25+ points each. The big 3 scoring 25+ points each in the playoffs is the only scenario were the big 3 works and win the championship.
With the second apron thing looming and the type of contract Beal has. Suns might need to trade KD or run it back with almost exactly the same roster for the next 4 years.
Anyone who is even open to the idea of trading Booker isn’t a true Suns fan. This franchise was the dumpster fire of the league for almost a decade. Players didn’t want to play here. Suns organization was a total clown show from top to bottom and the laughing stock of the NBA. Book went through FIVE head coaches in his first 5 seasons in the league. Not once did Book ask out. Not once did he even complain. And that was during the “player empowerment” movement where star players were requesting trades left and right. Draymond went on TNT and said “Get my man Devin Booker out of Phoenix!” And things were so bad here that most Suns fans would have understood it if he asked out. But nope. He stayed true and wanted to win in Phoenix!

I love Booker .I love the twins and CP3 . I follow them and root for them but Booker is not = to the suns. If you are a true suns fan you’ll know this. Barkley and Steve Nash left the suns without a championship. If Booker doesn’t win a championship in the next 2 years. He will leave and we will be grateful but we will root against him especially if he goes to the lakers or New York. We are suns fans first and than Booker fans. Booker is not= to the suns.
After seeing how nasty the PHNX crew and much of the Suns fanbase is to CP3, I'm glad the Suns keep embarrassing themselves in the Playoffs. The Suns ran Chris Paul into the ground every season, then wondered why he had nothing left for the playoffs. When they traded him to a bottom team in the East, I was DONE with this team. Until this org treats its players better, they will find karmic justice every April. Imagine thinking that trading CP3 for Beal and his NTC, $50M+/yr contract, and his constant losing is a good idea! If they had Chris they could've let go his unguaranteed contract end of June, but instead they'll owe Beal 9 figures over the next few years!

Dame might ask, than you can make a trade for Beal for Dame.
We have a 23rd pick, we should draft bronny james to put pressure on his dad to come for the allowed vet minimum in 2nd apron.
We can also, trade for straight swaps, allen nurk Nasir and O'Neal, that have money matches for a legit guard.
You have to wink wink a deal, cp3 even if for 10 minutes a game, or if he is on, you get for the contractual cheap. Should somehow target tyus Jones, and other legit guards who can run.
Find some GLeague Talent that play above the rim, to complement of elite backcourt, once we HAVE POINT GUARD.

We can't trade any big 3 players unless is straight SWAP, even the mid tier players, can only swapped for equal values or lower.
We need point guards, to complement kd booker n Beal, cause those three should be touching the ball last once defense is on their heels. Suns offense was very stagnant made their defense weak and always semi disarray beside the horrible rebounding. So we should focus on some real players from G league that play above the rim. Like Gafford, lively and pj Washington, or how the wolves had Alexander and McDaniels playing above the rim.
Cp3 would help even if just for a few minutes or player coach situation.

Coach Frank, who is a defensive coach, had no defense. He says he studies watches film. Is it the Little Rascals!!! Good players got traded because we had no bench. We hardly saw any of them. Frank doesn't use his bench. He has it in his mind to use only certain players, Eric Gordon, for example. Eric has no defensive skills. Eugene only hands the ball off & doesn't attack the bigs. Frank, this is not is not Los Angeles. Bottom line if players don't respect. We see what happens.
