The uncovered story is the adjustments the Celtics made to their coaching staff particularly adding Sam Cassel. Last year Mazulla had to promoted ahead of any schedule and the Celts had also lost Will Hardy . Understandably Mazulla was over his head without a top notch assistant . There are at least 15 teams that should be offering Cassel a HC position .

Holiday wouldn't have done anything on the Bucks this season with Giannis and Middleton's injuries. He's a good player, but a third option at best and that works for him in Boston because they have Tatum and Brown.

Tatum has really shown his maturity so far in this series by not forcing the issue and finding the open man when he's well-defended. He focused on rebounding, defense, and passing, then finding his shot only when he finds the space. Plus their two best bigs can stretch the floor allowing them to 5 out & have JB and JT attack the rim virtually uncontested. Mavs dont have that type of depth. They need Luka and Kyrie to basically do what LeBron and Kyrie did in 2016 + guys like derrick jones jr & maxi kleiber to hit timely shots and thats not happening with that defense Boston has. This wasn't a good offensive night for Boston, especially Tatum, and yet it doesn't seem to matter. There's just too much discipled talent on the Boston Celtics against Dallas. Kyrie Irving looks small and rattled out there, I don't see him as a threat in these finals. And Luka got picked pretty badly in both games, it's not looking good for the Mavs.

As a question for people cuz I don't know how it works. If you have a player like horford who is basically a lock to retire if they win thr chip. Can you trade his salary to another team before he retires knowing he's going to? Like is it worth it for a team to give up a bad contract they have or don't want for a player that's going to retire. If they retire does the salary then come off your books?
