Robin, friendly question. How is the shower feeding more effective than prespraying? Maybe I am overthinking it. But what about dwell time like when using peroxide. I can use the advice because it takes me 3 hrs cleaning a 4 bed plus living room.
If the carpet warrants it the process of cleaning will involve 2 steps. The first step is the application of the cleaning solution, shower feeding from the tank using either a brush or fibre pad. This can be considered the pre treatment step but involves a very thorough agitation as the solution is applied and this allows plenty of dwell time prior to the next step. The second step is the extraction pad using either a Microfibre, Rayon green stripe or Ironman and this will happen at least 15 minutes or more after the first step so there is plenty of dwell time in this case. On carpets that are not very soiled one can use a single step using an extraction pad to both apply and extract in one step. What machine and pads and products are you currently using?
