It´s amazing how he won two years in a row. So deserved, absolutely impacting acting. Also so hard to get since all these awards are very biased and hardly ever recognize ED. It was so exciting. Now that he is back I hope he starts winning everything again, he´s that good :)
Haha just watched the 2011 video for Best Actor and now this, and the Shane Richie video is hilarious, it's almost exactly the same both years - him and Kat having a heated barney in the kitchen.
Danny Miller not winning the first year he was nominated was already bullshit. Glad they redeemed themselfs with his two consecutive wins, last year and this year. He is hands down the best, no matter how young he is. Nobody has ever make me feel what he has done for 3 years in a soap
Danny Miller is by far my favourite actor. It is true, his kissing and intamcy scenes were not fantastic, but his emotional and dramatic scenes blow everyone else out of the water. To those keyboard warriors who call Danny a homophobe because he didnt particularly like kissing blokes, so what? Thats his choice and its fine. To be fair, you should take a look at his kisses with Victoria (Jessica Heywood) and Holly (Sophie Powles), They were ALL awkward. does that mean he is a hetrophobe too? lol
I know this was 10 years ago but trust me Danny has since become comfortable with kissing men. It was clearly just because he was young back at this time and he probably found kissing for the camera awkward then. He certainly wasn’t shy at all when kissing Robert or Alex

Danny Miller is brilliant, but I think Emmett J Scanlan and Steven Roberts had better performances this year (this coming from someone who doesn't even like Brendan or George). They're all superb actors and deserve awards, but like Danny said, it's a public vote (aka popularity contest), so...

LOL! Who's "they"? It's a public vote, which means the most popular win, not the best. Danny was the best, but not the most popular in 2010. Now, he's the most popular, but not the best in 2012. As long as these awards are determined by public vote, popularity will always overshadow performance, which is why Eastenders always win "best soap" every year.

Great clip they used for Danny Miller, they usually (in my opinion) use mediocre scenes but that was a decent scene to showcase his talent.
