Hi, just discovering your channel. I am right here with you in 2021. Married at 38, pregnant at 40, will deliver at 41yrs old. God is good. I encourage all of you to trust God, try God.
My mama had me at 39. Iâm about to be 23. Iâm SUPER grateful that she had me at the age she did. She teaches me so many things about life and sheâs so wise. I feel like older age greatly contributes to that. Our relationship is something I deeply cherish. She keeps me grounded and I keep her young lol. I'm SO happy for you! You make me think about my daughter who thought she'd never find "the one", then married the love of her life at 38 in 2018. After a miscarriage 2 years ago, last year she was told she couldn't have children. Then - lo and behold - now she's pregnant and due to deliver at FORTY-TWO!!! God works at God's own pace. You deserve this joy. May you have the happiest of families. đ
my grama had my uncle at 39 and my aunt at 44. she told me that people were so shocked she was still having children at her age but she didn't care because clearly she was equipped to do so. SHAMELESS. i'm 6 months pregnant now and she's so excited for her first great granddaughter lol may God bless you, your pregnancy and your family.
Congratulations. I delivered at 39 my first child. He keeps me young for sure. He is 20 months and I love him so much. He definitely saved me. Congrats once again.
I just told my friends last week âI think I want to have a child at 38â &I was scorned! Unbelievable the pressure that society has on women when it comes to OUR bodies! Congratulations Maya! You have taught us so much, you will be a great mommy đ
Don't listen to them ! My mom was 38 when she had my twin little sisters. They are 18 now my mom is 56, dad 58 and they still healthy and fit. I'm 31 no kids yet! I'm chilling taking my time!
They are just mad.. lol like women can have a baby at different ages it's sad people think a woman has to be 22 only to give birth you can be way older.
People express THEIR anxieties by lecturing you. It has nothing to do with you. Give them a good therapist's number and kuddos for respecting your pace and your journey :)
This! Technically women can give birth up until menopause begins (typically in your 50s). The chances may decrease the closer you get but it's still very possible. Forcing women to conceive at 25 is just archaic and sexist designed to keep women from ever realizing their potential outside of gendered expectations of wife and motherhood. We are more than just a wife and mother. We are our own person.
Just gave birth in November at 35. I had a 7 inch tumor in my womb (fibroid). Still do. The doctor told me my daughter might be born with no arms and legs (I fired him btw). BUT GOD. My daughter is the most beautiful creature I've ever seen and is as strong as an ox. I'm so so so so happy for you. Soon you'll see just how beautifully life came together to prepare you for a time such as this. Blessings on top of blessings to you and yours.
@@everberry51 He pretty much told me he recommended I terminate the pregnancy because of the fibroid. It makes me wonder how many women have taken his advice. My high-risk doctor told me everything would be fine and I'm glad I trusted him (and myself).
I'm hopeful when I look at you. I turned 36 this year, never been married, never been pregnant, but I'm faithful that God will set everything in my life as it should be. From the NY apt. days all through now..so happy for you & your husband mama!
It will come! I was in your position at 36. Then I met my boyfriend. Right away I wanted a baby LOL & so did he. We just had our 1st child and Iâll be 38 next week. It will come for you! Keep praying!!
Our worth as women comes from everything else beyond societal milestones/expectations! This is what Maya is showing us and sheâs happily doing her thing without being worried of arbitrary expectations
Iâm so happy for you! As a 33 year old childless, newly single woman this really makes me realize how important it is to trust the process. Iâve watched you grow so much Iâm happy for you and max.
Maya no worries!! I had my last baby a year ago at 40 and honey Iâm having so much fun!!! Donât worry...celebrate and love on your new bundle of joy youâre going to bring into this world.
That pressure is just from society non one else. Society makes money from fear and chaos. Listen to your own body and family genetics because not everyone is the same. Most millennials and gen z are delaying marriage and pregnancy because they understand the huge decision it it in life and my aunt who is an obgyn doctor said most of her clients world wide are only getting married in their 30s so itâs very much normal these days. 20s is like being a teen mind wise these days
My mom was 41 when she had her 9th child. She had one successful and relatively quick home birth too. You'll be fine đ love these chats about life. Wisdom from successful women is golden.
đđœââïž 39 here and still hoping this happens for me. Iâve wanted to be married and have a child since I was in my twenties. Iâll be 40 in November with neither in sight at the moment but Iâm still hopeful! đ
My mama was pregnant with me at 39 and she is my favorite person in the world. She raised me with so much grace and patience. I love her to the moon and back for giving me the best childhood and now a great young adulthood. Blessings to you and your new addition đ€đ€
I'm so surprised, also relieved lol. Always thought I was behind when looking at Maya. But she's almost 40 and I'm mid 20s. Moral of the story, mind ya business and don't compare yourself lol
Iâm 33 and this gave me such relief for real! I feel like there is a good amount of our generation that really wants to wait until theyâre for sure for sure ready. Itâs nice to see late 30s pregnancy getting exposure and normalizedâ€ïž
Same here! I was feeling worried about getting older because society puts a timeline on women that if we don't have kids by 35 our chances are slim or there may be hardships after. But God is good and technology is advanced these days so I am hopeful when the time is right, it will happen.
@@cutepinksocks take it from someone who was 20 when she gave birth; itâs wise to have them older. I can honestly say that I was not mentally or emotionally equipped to be a mom at 20. But, sheâs now 19 and Iâm 40, and Iâm a better and more patient mother. Please have them when you are ready. God bless you
@@honeywest39j95 thank you for this, i appreciate you. Only concern is that if I wait too long then i'll be a geriactric mom and the baby may have complications, i definitely don't want that but i am hopeful with advanced technology and god's grace everything would be ok. having kids in 30s is quite common these days
@@cutepinksocks Iâm a medical coder and trust me, women in their 40âs are having healthy babies these days. Times have changed. Having kids later in life is more common than you would think. Youâll be fine.

The only advice I have to offer is to continue to prepare mentally. The physical pain you will bear, you already know it won't last forever. But there may come a moment while you're laboring when you feel you can't go on. Like you can't usher this life in physically simply because what you are experiencing is out of this world. Reassure yourself. Everyday. Your body was made for this. Their soul chose yours, take comfort in that. Congratulations Boo!

I'm 42 and want to be pregnant! Please send good vibes! BTW congrats!

I'm 31 but I still feel that societal pressure. The comment section is so wholesome and has made my day. You have great subscribers!
The reason it was quick was because it was her 9th child. With every pregnancy, labor becomes shorter
Thank you for your encouraging words.

The only advice I have to offer is to continue to prepare mentally. The physical pain you will bear, you already know it won't last forever. But there may come a moment while you're laboring when you feel you can't go on. Like you can't usher this life in physically simply because what you are experiencing is out of this world.
