Lol, Marina's back bend and death drop were omitted and showed Hannah's best moments instead and also there were unfair angles and focus at Marina's performance that favored Hannah more. Most of the online viewers were deceived. But I know why the production did such stuff. If you know, you know. So yeah, the editing and the production is the real winner.
I guess it's an opportunity for her to be in All Stars. More people watch that show anyway!
@@Sushilover2309 Kinda not the point, though. It's like putting in time, effort, and money to finish 99% of a race and bring told "good news - you get nothing but you get to do it all over again!"
Ftr, I don't begrudge Tia the crown, but the way she was propped up tells me production didn't trust her enough to win on her own merits.
@@nevaladder Kinda is the point, it's a TV show, it's not a sporting event - the only rules that exist are the ones the TV producers decide... at the end of the day the queens are there to get the massive benefit of international TV exposure and the producers are there to create watchable drama... (do you think people will now be more or less invested in Marina's appearance in a future series (of which there will be one) as a result of the drama... I suspect the producers do.. )

Marina Summers is destined to another greater things and we’ll never know she might win the next All Stars season (which has bigger prize than this😉) and Mama she’s currently having her WORLD tour👌🏻🙌🏻. It pains me to see Marina fight PH 1, losing to an undoubtedly fair lipsync... Try and fight for the crown again and losing in a very riggorious edit!!!
I know WoW will have her back some point but that would be very sad that she has to prove herself again to get a crown... She has proven that she's more than qualified to win TWICE!!!!
Team Marina ever since the girl group and Tala in PH 1 and was heartbroken she lost to PPN too. But I admit PPN really won that lipsync fair and square. Now this time in UKvsTW, I am heartbroken but not because she lost fair, she lost to bad editing and production riggory.
OMG Turing shirt!! I love her so much, she's another performance girlie. She could honestly have a shot on an international season if she gets help to her wardrobe and sewing skills

Oh Marina's manager after the episode aired came out and said "We will be doing a Facebook live of Marina performing Outta Love and show WHAT WAS EDITED OUT"
I'm not sure if there are laws pertaining to international queens getting cash prize from UK but that's the only thing I can think of why they didn't give it to Marina. She had the Jinkx Monsoon track record, the fanbase, performed and lipsynced the song...
She had a good track record but calling it a Jinkx track record might be a bit far. And if int'l queens aren't allowed to win cash prizes, then why invite them to compete?
I'm so heeeeeere for David disagreeing about Tia VS LGD. I meaaann, LGD gave us levels and nuances while Tia gave us a crass/messy freakshow 🤣🤣

Could'nt have said it perfectly. No hate towards other queens but the whole show was rigged from the beginning. Anyway, I try to convince myself that they are preparing Marina for something bigger after this and that gives me comfort
Just starting the episode, but just want to say… I personally don’t like the idea that queens who performed well on this season has to prove themselves again on a “proper” All Stars season. That’s just exhausting. Why can’t good queens win this one?
We never once said that queens needed to "prove" themselves on a "proper" All Stars, & a good queen one this one. 3 good queens have won all 3 Vs the World seasons.
@@TheCUPPod yeah, mine was just a point thats been raised online.. it just doesn’t sit right to me that Marina, for example, has to do another season just for a prospect of a win.. i personally wouldn’t be surprised if she rejects an All Stars call, because honestly, it’s just exhausting… but yeah, we’ll see what the future holds..
@@ImSchneckenhausI wouldn't say she only had a prospect of winning this season. Additionally, if she were to go on Global or AS10, it exposes her to a much wider audience, & that would make her much more money than winning UKvTW ever would. I think it's incredibly smart & I'm honestly glad she didn't win for the opportunity to win more & make more money in the long run of her career.
Im just happy with my queen..... While ukvw2 was airing marina is soo busy with her tour... She's been in Canada.... When the finale was aired Marina is on her US tour... Then she mentioned that on April marina will be in UK wirh her sisters and her solo tour.... ❤❤ Shes still our filipina wimner!!!

yea it had production fingerprints all over that first lip sync. not only were the songs tailored for goofy performances but as soon as marina "chose" hannah i knew they were going to get rid of her to give tia even an ounce of chance of winning. i don't know how this will affect prize money in the future because one of the stipulations is that production can't have a hand in who wins, but clearly they did. unless there's some sort of unspoken caveat that prize money that is funded by the people of the uk should go to someone in the uk. there's quite the outrage apparently over how production chose the winner here. what i hate about these competitions is that the best person never wins. it's always the one in the middle or high middle. there was a moment where i thought it would be hannah vs lgd. sometimes i hate being right. at the beginning of the seasons i said they will give the win to tia and sapphira over at 16.
Honestly the fandom will always be toxic no matter what but i think it wouldn't be this much if they did not edit it the way they did, now that the audience knew, it really gave the notion to the audience that they didnt want marina to win. Hannah was good tbh but if they're so confident that she wins why the need to edit out marina in the core part of the song , its just shady and i felt bad for marina esp how she felt now that she saw what they did in the final edit. I know shes a class act and for sure shes gonna say its fine but honestly that must have been kinda hurt her! imagine preparing for a lipsyncs and know you're gonna kill the core part . still not an excuse to be racist to other contestant tho
Tia did well, as all the finalists. It’s UK vs the world so naturally the production will let a UK Queen win. In the end, it’s RuPaul’s decision that matters. It was a good show. We were entertained. It wouldn’t be entertaining if there was no drama. Congrats to Tia! I love her and rooted for her even in her original season. You deserve to be a world Queen!

I'm sorry guys, I get the positive vibes but for me? Great season but bad finale... so it diminishes this season's future legacy in the canon of great seasons, I think... I love all 4 finalists but I'm sad it had to go the way it did, especially with the "alleged" riggory (i'm sorry that lip sync editing was atrocious and obviously deliberate) but that's tv for you... moving on and looking forward to Drag Race Philippines Season 3...
I think we will look back and enjoy a lot of this season for sure. We are also looking forward to Philippines Season 3!
The shade of green gems on Ru's headpiece should have been the basis of the dress and the straps. Instead we got something that tried to use the whole green spectrum.

Lol the comment that “if they’re gonna crown tia anyway atleast they could’ve put marina in top2 “ but No they cant do that when they already have the Opportunity to take out Marina since shes against Hannah w/c I think is the best to go against Marina out of the 3. Having watched Marinas full performance I still would have given the win to Hannah. Once you seen one flip you seen it all. Don't get me wrong Marina did amazing...but she did miss some of song and Hannah nailed the lip sync and put on a show. Hannah did edge out Marina EVEN if you have seen Marinas full performance... she missed some of the words...which is the point.
So proud of Tia. This season was fun campy and one of the best
