- Pacific northwest loves these Aluminum pilot house fishing boats. Today I walk with Bruce this 30 offshore Duckworth .Its an aluminum fishing beast and has great features to make any die-hard fisherman comfortable in any type of weather.

What I find ironic is none of these salesman told you one great thing about aluminum boats.
As they age you will get what appears to be a white film\powder on the bare aluminum. That film\powder will actually help prevent the aluminum from corrosion.
Your boat will look like crap buuutttt.
@@freedomisntfree5573 white is fresh water corrosion. means you dont have a freshwater anode installed. it does not prevent further corrosion. dull grey is the protective weathering coat. fix your anodes.

guessing you don't do much research on duckworth boats having electrical problems and and how customer's bring their offshore 28's to the factory so they can fix the issues and 8 months later customer came to the factory and asked "is my boat done yet?!?" The ppls in the front office asked "what boat is it? I don't see your boat in files" after hearing that the customer asked to go to the service area and saw his boat sitting there untouched for 8 months!
He bought a brand new boat expecting to fish from it but he ended up missing salmon season to albacore runs.
There's another story whereas, the wiring to his outboard keeps on shutting off. Took it to the factory to have it fixed 3 times same thing. So he's given up and took the boat to a private shop and they had to rewire all new cables..
so ure right..,Duckworthless boats are number one at false wiring and electrical's lol
if you check this site you'll see so many duckie's up for grabs. ppls rather buy hewescraft, north river,rh, raiders and stabicraft...
