- Traveling up the Pacific Northwest most of the boats I saw all had Aluminum hulls. Today I do a walk-through with Bruce from WeldCraft and discuss this 300 Cuddy King. Its an aluminum fishing monster and has great features to make die-hard fishermen comfortable in any type of weather.

higuys please be very careful about that's they said there is too many traps waiting for you to jump in.
Wow. Love the power, space and features. The airy "phone booth" head is a great idea, you can visit with the guy cooking breakfast while taking a dump. There's something for everybody folks.

Great Looking boat, and my birthday is coming up! Stand-up head, sink, stove/heater, dinette/bed, and aluminum hull for those rocky shores of Minnesota's lakes and rivers. Right up there with Wooldrige, Duckworth, and Kingfisher

Nice boat!! Wooden floors? I've noticed that many of the big fishing boats like Duckworth have wood floors which I do no understand.

I live in Florida. It appears to me there's more aluminum boat in the Northwest..wonder why that is. Less weight would be nice vs fiberglass. No concerns about lightning?

What about lightening strike danger or any electrical hazard?
Travels through the highest point antenna most likely down the ground out the sacrificial anodes as with any other vessel. Sitting in the boat show highly unlikely

I don't understand why almost all of these companies put the cockpit helm on the same side as the pilothouse helm. That's okay, if there's a flip up joystick on the other side for port side docking. But I feel like putting both helms on the same side of the boat is a real missed opportunity. Especially if you don't have enough budget to option the rub rails. Lol

That is a very very nice boat but I only have two worries, lightning and corrosion. Would be really interested in hearing what they are doing to combat those issues
I've had a welded boat like this in saltwater. The main thing you want to make sure is that they use the same aluminum for the weld as the rest of the hull. If they are dis-similar, your welds will fail due to galvanic corrosion. The other thing they do is put large sacrificial zinks on the stern. And keep the motors tilted out of the water when you're not using them. Do all this and you won't have a problem.

If you're worried about lightning stay off the water. What is the concern exactly? Lightning hits the tallest structure no matter the material its made from

The bulkhead was smaller, it looked like the headroom was at least 6' 4"

Hint dude. 300cuddy king maybe a 30 footer? Haha virtually all boat manufacturers add a 0 or a to the number of feet of the boat and make it the model number. Just saying.
Just check the price guys and you will be looking at another boat lol - its min $180K
That's in the ballpark for a thirty footer what turned me off was the tight access to the bilge and all the electrical down there.

Couldn't be fucked watching a twin out board boat with an axillary. Wtf. It's called seperate fuel and battery's mmm and forget the third motor

The cockpit is too busy
