Picked one up yesterday, Hob Lob has 40% all models this week. As you stated, the kit has a TON of options and parts, including a spare motor. There's so many different ways you can go with it! Started my pre assembly and I am quite impressed. Everything is clean and tight for a older mold.
Going custom street rod (blown motor) on this build and plan on snagging another kit this week to do a mild lowered custom.

For an older kit, it is wonderful!! I would love to do this kit again as a drag with the blown motor,just like I did the two GTOs. The spare parts box has lotta cool additions to it from this kit!!! Your's is gonna look awesome! Gonna be a car show beauty!!! Enjoy it!!!!!

If I had put the tailgate on before I fitted the truck bed it would been ok. The bed was kind of a weird design. Live and learn. Otherwise this is an excellent kit!! Highly recommend it!

This is a great kit! I'd like to do another one as a drag. Goes togther very well. Careful with the rear tailgate, I had some issues getting it to sit right. You're gonna love this kit!!!

Some nice black spark plug wires and a fuel line would have put this over the top but very nice either way
