    If I want to replace the evaporator of 2010 to 2015 prius, do I have to remove the dashboard?

    Hey man love the video.. I got half way on my own wish I saw this before had lol... question: do you know if taking off the dash like in this video, is how I can replace the blower assembly i couldn't figure how to take that off

    • @Ass_Burgers_Syndrome
      @Ass_Burgers_Syndrome Před 3 lety +1

      You mean for the heater/ac? For that you don't need to do all this. The fan blower is located under the glove box, there's a panel you remove to get access to the bolts that hold it in. I did mine a few months ago, took like 20 min. There's a video here on yt.

    Great video. I am a mechanic. I’ve never done this job before. How long would you guess it would take to do this job the first time? I’m guessing 6 hours? I need to provide a quote. 6-8 hours? FYI I am trying to disable the lights on the cluster regarding abs etc... Not my idea, theirs. They pay, I’ll do it. Thanks in advance.

    • @nikodemoskoutsoheras8175
      @nikodemoskoutsoheras8175 Před 4 lety

      Yes, but when you're done doing this you also need to follow the instructions in czcams.com/video/0w5n-05MaUs/video.html (skip 0:33 to 0:59) and desolder the large black circular component from the circuit board.

      @@lamirranee6997 ahh. It's so annoying, Mine's a 2012 and the Trip/odometer/Hybrid System Indicator/ side flickered for a couple of days and then went black 4 days ago. Then turned back on 1 day later. Then turned off 2 days later and it's been 2 days that its been black. eBay clusters will have to be programmed at Toyota for odometer reading to match right? How much did you get yours for? Can only the odometer side of the cluster be replaced?

I am gonna do it eith an obd2 reader you don't really need Toyota to do it fr you cause im not paying fr shit!They need a recall ASAP anyways on the gauge cluster!On the prius forum soooo many people are having the SAME issue.YES!THIS IS ANNOYING. And you could actually try to refurbish the screen itself.I would just replace the whole thing cause then at least if it happens again you will have all the parts
