We are in an uncertain state, a situation where we seem to be caught between two stages, and it is unclear what will happen next; an uncomfortable position.
This pandemic made everybody’s life in limbo. It is my inspiration for this choreography. The movement vocabulary shows all uncomfortable positions - not sure if it’s beautiful or not, good or bad.
In the creation process, this piece became more personal when my father, whom I planned to meet last holidays for the first time, died...
I guess a part of me will always be in limbo.
