I find Jenny's love/hate relationship with Star Wars interesting, because I share it.
Intellectually, you can see the stupidity of middle-aged men's blind fan worship and vacuous consumerism. But the inner-child still wants to enjoy it.
Jenny Nicholson's Star Wars content is the only Star Wars content I like. I'm very endeared to all the people in the line who seem to be having a good time joking around and yes-anding the whole bit.

Any toy collector can tell you why there were so many of those "giant Praetorian Guards" figures left.. the newest characters always get the most figures. The boxes come shipped to the stores with "filler" figures, not the most popular character, but the easiest to manufacture and produce. = an extra helping of praetorian guards.

It's a real delicate tightrope she walks, and she pulls it off because it appears to come from a disdain one earns from appreciating and seeing the follies in themselves. So she can make fun of these things, and it comes off as charming, whereas someone not as intimately familiar with the subject or the people could do a similar thing and come off as a complete dick. She is very charming.
Not my business, not my place but I immediately was shipping Jenny and the first guy she interviewed, who is also the first to inform her of the existence of the five foot porg.
