Who are your favorite characters Marla Sokoloff has played?
Honestly
Gia ❤
Wilma in Dude Where’s My Car?
Not many since she got type cast in "bitch" roles and I don't like Bitch girl characters.
Only like her rare instances of playing a nicer person.
@@Over_The_Countercultureshe was a bitch in that too. I think she’s Gia in real life
Lisa Janusch.
I have “The Sign” stuck in my head now
Did you know that life is demanding without understanding 😂
I saw the sign 🪧 ❤ 🎶
It lives in a small part of my brain at all times 😂
I found out that that wasn’t really there song I was shook lol
@@smokepot5665 It was the #1 song of 1994 in the USA, so I knew it before they played it on Full House. I'm a hit music guy. LOL
My name is Marla, and I was shocked and excited as a kid when I found out her name was Marla. There are so few Marla’s in the world, to the point where almost everyone accidentally calls me Maria when reading my name.
Finally an episode that felt like a full house podcast! 😊
She's absolutely gorgeous. Somehow even younger and fresher looking than on Full house 😂
I laughed so loud when Gia vaped in Fuller house 😂
Wow this woman was my favorite non-regular female of the Full House cast. I had such a crush on her, and found her so insanely gorgeous. All these years later, and she's barely aged at all. I still look at her and think she is so incredibly gorgeous. She looks like she could still pass for a student who is currently in college fresh out of high school. Good for her, she deserves it!
Giaaa! Omg I always liked her so much when I was a kid, still do. And wow, to have Dave Coulier himself complimenting your comedic timing, that’s so huge. Love this podcast!
Not really, since his comedic timing sucks.
Yes big compliment!!
Me and my friends growing up were always using Gia as a scale. Like “ok so she’s hot but is she like Gia hot?”
Yep! I used to do that. I'll use her as an example. I'd say "On a scale from 1 to Gia." 😅
Omg it’s so refreshing to see another 90s chick in here! 😂 When we watched the episode where they were smoking in the bathroom, of course, my friends and had to try it. “But MOM! Gia did it! GIAAAA” 😂😂
Thank you for Bringing Marla Sokoloff on the pod episodes! now we need Andrea Barber, Mary-Kate & Ashley Oslen, Lori Loughlin, Tahj Mowry, Miko Hughes, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger, Jodie Sweetin, Blake & Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, Jurnee Smollett, Molly Morgan, Scott Menville, Jason Marsden, Gail Edwards, Darlene Vogel, Blake Mclver Ewing, Jordan Christopher Michael, Andrea Abbate, Felicia Michaels, David Lipper, Whit Hertford, Debbie Gregory, Anne Marie McEvoy, Malachi Pearson, R.J. Williams, Kathryn Zaremba, Rhoda Gemignani, Scott Curtis, Nathan Nishiguchi, Debra Sandlund and John Aprea on the podcast Show!
MK and Ashley are not going to go
@@heidicb86 what do you means they are not going to go?
@@trentowens2683they say that because they refused to return to fuller house. But they might actually do this because it’s not acting. It’s an interview. They aren’t anti full house they just moved on from acting. So I say ask them. Wouldn’t hurt. If they say no then they say no but Dave could still get a yes. Who knows for sure.
Dave looks fantastic! Marla is still gorgeous. Love this podcast. Definitely nostalgic
I remember watching Marla as Cokie Mason in The Baby - Sitters Club movie
Which one?
Marla was my first crush everybody was into topanga and DJ but me i loved Marla.
Being from Michigan and living here. I love hearing Dave say “we’re Michiganders” lol
I loved her character when I was young! It was my first crush on the "bad girl"! That became a pain later in life :) haha She is beautiful today!
I loved when Stephanie is trying to figure out how to get revenge on her and Kimmy goes… “I can give you pair of my gym socks to put in her locker” and DJ goes… “Kimmy, she wants to hurt her, not kill her!” ROFL 🤣
marla has 3 girls just like danny on full house. and they are almost the same age as DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle when the show started! How funny!
Just started watching this podcast the other day & immediately jumped into a Full House rewatch ❤ my favorite growing up & still gives all the Dad feels some of us missed out on 🥰
Love you Marla Sokaloff.

Great interview with Marla Sokoloff , nice to know what she is like in real life. :)
Gia!!!! ❤️❤️
Marla, you absolutely have comedic timing! It's not even what you said, it's how you said it and the timing.
"Are you offering me a sitcom right now?"
"Well, I don't have a sitcom"
"You don't? Well find one and I'll direct it."
Gia! Great pod, Dave
This was my favorite episode so far! My sister's also! 😊❤
Such a huge fan of hers!!!! ❤
Great guest, great Full/Fuller house stories and insights. This is what a lot of fans want. She definitely needs to return again. Especially if you get to episodes in featuring her character.
No wants to see the love child of Gary Shandling and Gilbert Gottfried aka Adam Carolla. 😂 I have nightmares thinking about how such a child could of been conceived. Imagine how much worse the others were that this was their choice as the one they chose to keep! 😱😱😱
Edit: cas (I believe) was meant to be choice as and somehow. RIP Garry & Gilbert both were Comedic Legends. 🙏
Marla Sokoloff is my very first television crush. 😌
Hi Dave!!!!!!
Did Joey and Gia even have a scene together in Full House???
Love this so much! It's so nostalgic!
Omg ! Marla was so beautiful and talented besides full house and fuller house she was in a few lifetime movies and directed a lot of things She was so talented

It’s Gia and Joey from Friends sister.
She was great in that role, too. ❤
My childhood crush.
EpAsode 6 is one of my favorites
Please bring her back for more episodes, and analyze her appearances.
Why is there a doorbell by the window?
She looks the same!!!! Great episode :)

How come Marla Sokoloff's character Gia wore her same color shoes her same shirt and her same shorts in Full House's 8th season episode All Stood Up?
I had a huge crush on her lol guess I still do...
“So, ha” iykyk 😂
Dave your looking wonderful .Marla your so natural and beautiful i am so proud of you and good luck on directing The character of Gia was a a interesting role for a sweetheart like marla who is so beautiful and kind playing a bad girl is difficult
Dave and Marla talked like Valley folks, when they put 'like' into their sentences.
Happy 😊 Friday have a good 😊 weekend cheers 🥂 all the best have a great 👍 fun 🤩 wonderful day
Dave, where is that shirt from?
31:40 Hi I would say it still isn’t the same as it was when my dad was growing up. At least when Marla Sokoloff and I were growing up you could record the show on to a VHS video tape to watch later since the vast majority of Americans had at lest one VCR, so you could at lest record the show you wanted to watch so you could watch it later. This is as long as you set the timer on the VCR so that particular episode would be recorded. When my dad was growing up you didn’t have that. If you missed the the episode when it first aired you had to wait for the summer rerun if it wasn’t cancelled before then, and it was only in its first or second season. If the show was a long running one and you missed the summer rerun then you would have to wait until the show entered syndication if it did at all. If the show didn’t enter syndication you would then never have the chance to watch the episode of a series that you missed. And if you went back to the First Golden age of Television in the 1950s if you missed it that was it because the networks generally didn’t do summer reruns back then. Unless it was “You Bet Your Life” hosted by Groucho Marx of the Marx Brothers. “You Bet Your Life” was the first prime time series to be reran during the summer because it was so popular. You did have VCRs when my dad was in high school in the mid 1970s, but they were very very very expensive and because of that only the very wealthy had them. So even in the 1990s you could at least record the show to watch later due to home video recording.
LMAO. YOU ARE SHOWING YOUR PRIVILEGE. So no not true. Many people in the 90's ,the majority of people in the 90's, ask me I know since i was born in the year 1980, didn't know how to work the record function on the VCR, it was very, very, VERY difficult to do. It was impossible for me and most of America. Only the well off people who could afford the expensive VCR's that could do it more easily and/or the tech inclined were able to do that.
Lange Street also known as Dave Coulier Way , when I saw that I got goosebumps cause my last name is Lange so now I'm also known as Dave coulier I guess in Michigan only lol.
Love the podcast @fullhouserewind but you need to give fans more and take deep dives with your guests on their particular scenes and episodes....for example, when Stephanie posted Gia's report card, did Marla really cry and pull from emotions or was that fake tears? Lol....questions like that we need to dive in to...similar to the Office Ladies podcast who discuss trivia, facts, etc of episodes....
I want to see a biopic about Jeff Daniels played by Dave Coulier, and another about Dave Coulier played by Jeff Daniels.
💓
You can tell Robin Williams was a big influence. Robin did a similar or maybe the same bit to the cut-it-out line.
But it was more of a random throwaway bit. Where Dave's bit is more intentional and recurring.
Robin Williams was Fantastic, it was sad too see him go. He probably gave 150% (99% more realistically) to everyone else. Not too long after he left us, I went into a Polish eatery (not sure what to call it). In Polish neighborhood of Philadelphia. Very small place, for lunch. Across from the booth I sat in on the wall, a photo of Robin cooking in their kitchen.
Last bit, Mork & Mindy timeless classic. I always wished they would of revisited or remade it. Now, I am not sure they should. But I would like a similar concept almost like My Favorite Martian.
A show that asks why do humans do and act the way they do. Why do we neglect the elderly? Why do people attack others, steel from one another and many more questions we should be asking ourselves and hopefully coming up with solutions to stop or correct this behavior. Pam Dawber a Michigander also, was fantastic and a timeless beauty.
Final thought (this is my show now!)
Episode where Robin plays himself while entertaining Mork and Mindy ... An amazing episode and job well done by everyone involved.
I had record
Hi Dave and Marla! I enjoyed episode 6 and Marla I love love love Taylor Swift she’s my top favorite singer!
Who is granny Tanny? I mean who is the person who is doing it? & who is comet & woodchuck voices?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
👍👍
yooo utah hikers rise up
I bet she means Friends.
Marla was great in sugar and spice ..I thought she would have been perfect as a horror actress like neve Campbell or Jennifer love Hewitt back in the late 90s
Full House Rewind and the 2024 2:22
GLORYJOHNSON
I wonder If Marla was a smoker, in real life
Who were the not nice kids and adults? Come on spill the tea!
This was so interesting! I loved hearing what it felt to get the excitement and cheers from the live audience during the Fuller House tapings! And i loved hearing about actors melting down and the not nice demon kids on set haha! I enjoyed it all! 🩷
Wasn't she on boy meets world has Harley kaners kid sister TC
#DisneyDiva
She seems very upper crust rich.
How come gia mahan wears her shorts in the full house episode all stood up?
Gia. The Bad Girl.
Jodie sweetin stephanie tanner gina taylor gia mahan. 😂
I always think of her as the mean chic lol
What are you gonna do when you run out of old full house gusta to interview
1:19 just FYI...Please plug in a phone jack cord and electric plug cord behind the phone on your desk Dave!! It looks so fake just sitting there without anything behind it!
I hate what she did to Mark on Step By Step.
i always thought she was cute. even if she was trying corrupt stephanie
Day 3 of asking for bob saget to get on the pod 🙄
Please tell me you are joking.
She went from child star, to adult-film entertainer star
I can’t stand her!
Lol it was just acting lol 😂
@@MsDisneylandlover uh… no it’s not, she’s Gia in real life too.
@@nsasupporter7557 How do you know? do you know or ever met her?
Who???
Marla Sokoloff. She played Gia, Stephanie Tanner's enemy turned friend. She was an edgy girl that played against Stephanie's goody goody image.
It’s the bitchy girl who unfortunately became friends with Stephanie… I can’t stand her
Right, she doesn’t deserve to be remembered
Is who had the best comedic Timing on full house even a real question?
It is obviously and indebatebly Jodie Sweetin, with Candace in a close Second.
"You either have comedic Timing or you don't" may be one of the dumbest things Dave has ever said. That is complete bullshit. Comedic timing can definitely be taught just like Music.
If you gelievevtgus then you know NOTHING of comedy
You may like to kuagh at funny things but have the furthest idea of comedy.
