From her instagram page she says she had to have 2 surgeries on it, so it is probably a post surgery soft cast prior to going into a boot.
Also ich habe mir vor drei Wochen auch den rechten Knöchel gebrochen und musste mir auch einer Operation unterziehen . Habe genau so wie die Dame einen dicken Gips bis zum Knie bekommen und muss an Krücken gehen . Meine Bekannten haben sich auch gewundert wie so der Gips so dick ist , es dient zur Stabilität des gesamten Unterschenkels.

@@castlienks7124 I know a couple of people when they fractured their ankle had to have a cast up past their knee if they did not have surgery.
