The commentators are really bad
Yeah Idk if this sport is dying, but the casters were top notch when I followed the scene as a kid. These guys have like 50% of the knowledge and energy they need.
@@shadoninja yeah like they absolutely lied on their resume and the people hiring them don’t know enough to know they’re calling tricks wrong and missing things, it’s just painful to listen to! Scotty Cranmer is consistently the best commentator.
Yeah they called a 540 flair a 900, And many other mistakes. Get some actual BMX commentators. This is the Olympics for gods sake

This is the Olympics. Not exactly the time to learn. So no, I’ll continue to hate. These guys should start with amateur riding.
Jude Jones was robbed! this judging was horrible! Clearly there was favoritism and biasness in the scores.
These commentators are a disrespect for the bmx world. In on of the biggest events in the Olympics…. Wow I don’t know what to say🙄

Awful announcers. They have zero idea of what they are talking about. He can barley call the basic tricks much less call out anything is is thrown switch. There are too many guys to count that would be better.

Oh there’s much worse there’s a couple who don’t even know the sport. Only mention the scores not what they actually doing take karate and judo on the Olympic channel
Justin does a twix 360 and they call it a 360 landed a bit low 🤦♂️
Agreed I've seen worse, but also agreed the riders and viewers deserve much better.
EDIT: just heard the announcer call out a downwhip in the next run and I realized that we need to rebrand the twix as the Dowell-whip.
