Unit 3.1 Kipat( Traditional land tenure system)

Kipat system is very important for your internal and external exams. A question of 5 marks under traditional land tenure system could asked in exam.

Define Kipat and rajya rajauta.
Define Kipat and Jagir land etc.
Kipat system is a traditional land tenure system
where a community owns the land like a state. The community exercises all powers relating to land. They can transfer Property of one person who has excess land to the needy person in that same community.
Now that system is abolished after 2020
