Fiberglass pools are one of the best kinds of pools. Not only can you get them in dozens of shapes and sizes, they're excellent on chemical usage.
Compared to concrete pools, you are limited for actual custom pools.
Excellent information as always
We just had a 15x31 fiberglass barrier reef pool installed 2 weeks start to finish...comes with a 15 year transferrable warranty for cracking...worst no maintenance required, no chemicals as it's a salt water system...the heater barely has to work because the glass holds in the heat better than concrete... It costs a bit more but we'll worth it...after owning this pool I will never go back to gunite.... ever!
They're great. Thanks for watching.
My fiber glass pool is nearly done! That’s why I’m watching this video to see how good it actually is
Now that you have had your pool for 7 months, do u feel good about your choice?
Update on your pool?
Can you get a custom size fiberglass pool?
what model and mfg is this shell?
I guess this is my choice of swimming pool.
I was all sold on fibreglass until you said I couldn't jump in with my knife.
Vinyl liner it is then...
Thanks for the comment.
ha ha me to
Hey
Every can you find it in south Africa
do they come with a main drain
Most inground pools have a bottom drain regardless of the type it is.
What size is that pool 🏊♀️
I'm not sure of the dimensions but it's about 10,000 gallons. Thanks for the question.
A little more expensive? Lol
Can they go to 8ft deep?
Yes, and you'll need one that's 35' - 45' long. Thanks for the question.
Mine is 8ft deep and 32x14. We went through San Juan.
@@JM-qn4vc how much did it cost?
Turn key $76,000. The pool was $45,000. The extras is what gets ya. Heater, salt water system, retaining wall, French drains, diving board, slide, and extra concrete.
Wow! Turn key is expensive. Thanks for answering me!
How much would something like this cost me...??
Average cost is $1 - $1.50 per gallon. This is a nearly 10k gallon pool and the pool owner spent a total around $15k but this includes solar panels for heat and a couple other things.
Seriously!.@?@ mine was $45,000. Total price overall $75,000. I'm obviously getting screwed 😂
Fiberglass is cheaper. Custom built pools are almost twice as much for the same shape/size. #1 drawback isn't correct.
@Joe Kinchicken You're wrong. I've had estimates done and fiberglass is half the cost of a custom cement.
@Joe Kinchicken I did. I know what I'm doing. Same pool lower price on fiberglass.
@Joe Kinchicken then you got ripped off. I know what I'm talking about. I don't need a moron like you telling me I'm wrong when you don't know that facts. Get a life and stop trollling comments.
@Joe Kinchicken
Fiberglass pools, will save you a lot of 💰 when it comes to maintenance as well. Ohh and your wrong! There in no way more expensive than concrete pools. Sorry but true.
Joe Kinchicken I agree with you buddy. Fibreglass for the win
2-3 days? My fiberglass pool is taking a whole month! Wtf is wrong with the construction builders
no, fiberglass is 4-6 weeks, which is much faster than 8-12 weeks for concrete
Ether 12:27 i have the same pool as the dude in the video. same size, length, and shape
Our was installed in two days. Day one, hole was dug. Day two pool delivered and installed. Waiting on the tiles for coping now
